Debbie Gibson released a new music video today. She is proving to the world with One Step Closer that you can still be sexy as all f*ck even when you are 50.
She went from a teeny bopper to a seductrious, and this video confirms it.
It also confirms that the Electic Youth is still strong with her.
Debbie Gibson and Joey McIntyre are going to do a residency together in Vegas in August. To make the show even more special, the two of them recorded a duet together to one of her songs.
The teeny bopper and the boy bander reworked Lost In Your Eyes, and the song is a million times better. Not that it was bad to begin with, it is just what the tune needed to make it even greater.
I almost want to go to the City of Sin and see them perform it live.
Now, I want them to do a duet to one of the New Kids on the Block’s songs. Which one do you think they should do?
Back in the ’80s, when Tiffany was starting out, she played malls. Then the tenny bopper had several hits off of her self-titled debut album, and she graduated to clubs and arenas. In fact, she is still playing at those venues on her latest tour.
However, every now and again, she goes to the mall and remembers the good ole times. And sometimes, when she is there, they play her songs for her. So maybe someone will say to her they saw her standing there.
You can take a singer out of the mall, but you can’t take her music out of one. So once a mall rat, always a mall rat!
Personally, I think Tiffany should go back to her roots and take her show back to the mall. I think it could’ve been so right. I think we’re alone now with that thought. But it is never too late…
Tiffany shared a photo of herself in a revealing crop top, and I can’t believe the Teen Idol is going to turn 50 in October. She is even hotter now than when she was touring malls in the late ’80s.
Why is she trying to get our attention? “Last day on the beach in Waikiki,” she wrote. “Time to head home and start promotion for the new single HEY BABY!! Featuring the new revised version of ITWAN.”
Want to hear the new tune? Then you will be happy to know it is going to be released tomorrow.
I know Debbie Gibson is not rolling in the hay, but it is a slow news day, and that made for a good headline.
When it comes to Gibson, you have to love that she still has Electric Youth at 50. We are never too old to enjoy the things we loved when we were a kid like rolling around in the grass.
