Former-prisoner Lil’ Kim is one of the few Stars, I am actually rooting for on Dancing with the Stars and she needs all the votes she can get. But according to Scoop, she isn’t. Even though she dedicated her first dance to all the girls at the Federal Detention Center, they won’t be able to vote for her.
“The inmates cannot dial toll-free numbers,†said the public information officer at the Philadelphia facility where Kim served out 10 months of her prison sentence for conspiracy and perjury. No toll-free numbers means the inmates cannot vote via phone.
And voting via the ABC Web site isn’t an option either. “The computers aren’t connected to live modems. They can send e-mails to approved recipients, but it has to be screened first,†said the officer.
This is so not fair! Those lost votes need to be made up, so please vote her every Monday we need to keep her on the show.
Before Bruno Tonioli was the Dancing with the Stars judge who couldn’t stay he seated, he was dancing in Elton John’s I’m Still Standing in some outfits that still make it hard for me to take him seriously? Can you believe what a little amount of clothing the 28 year old dancer was wearing back in 1983 when he shot that video. Thankfully Dancing with the Stars is black tie because I would never ever want to see him dressed like that again!!!

Melissa who was dumped by The Bachelor, Jason Mesnick on TV on Monday, has signed on to take Nancy O’Dell’s spot on Dancing with the Stars according to People. ABC has no comment and said the casting changes will be announced on Monday when the show premieres on ABC at 8p!
Back to Melissa, now I wonder with less than a week of rehearsal before the start of Dancing with the Stars will she be the first dancer out. Making her dumped on national TV twice in less than two weeks. That would totally suck for her if that is the case. The only other Bachelor contestant to ever do the show was Trista Sutter and she was the first one out, the first season.

We are still 4 days away from the premiere of the 8th season of Dancing with the Stars, but 2 stars have already dropped out due to injuries. ABC has confirmed that both Jewel and Nancy O'Dell are out of the show because of injuries. Jewel was diagnosed with a fractured tibia in both legs and O’Dell has a torn meniscus
“When the doctors told me my injuries were so severe that I couldn’t walk, let alone compete, I was devastated that I couldn’t continue the show,” said Jewel. “I have every intention of being at ‘Dancing with the Stars’ this season supporting my husband, Ty, and his partner, Chelsie (Hightower). I hope to be back on the show in the future.”
“Beyond disappointment doesn't even being to describe how I feel about not being able to continue on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’” said O’Dell. “It has been one of my favorite shows since Season One! But I have torn the meniscus in my knee in two places, which requires surgery. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ was a great experience. I'll miss working with my partner, Tony Dovolani, and all the other wonderful people on the amazing production that is ‘Dancing with the Stars’”
ABC did not know say who is replace them, I guess they have to keep something for Monday's premiere. The rumors have said that Holly Madison is replacing Jewel, but there has been nothing said who will replace Nancy. Hopefully no one because I could go another season without Tony Dovolani!!!
BTW when I spoke with last season's runner-up Warren Sapp on Sunday at The Comedy Central Roast for Larry the Cable Guy that airs on March 15th, I asked what adivce does he have for the Stars so they will avoid such injuries. He told me they need to stretch. Hopefully the remaining 11 will follow his advice.
Dancing with the Stars 8 hasn't even started, but it already has lost one of its contestants to the DWTS curse. According to Marc Malkin Jewel is out and Holly Madison is in. Jewel recently announced that she was suffering from tendonitis in the knees from DWTS, but said the show would go on with her. Now comes word, it won't and the first husband and wife to compete against each other is not going to happen. I can't say I care that she is gone! The good news is that she left early enough so that So You Think You Can Dance's Dmitry can stay in the competition, but hopefully not in his shirt!! ABC has no comment.
BTW Jewel isn't the only one suffering from tendonitis of a body part, Gilles Marini has it in his groin area. Who knew Dancing with the Stars was so dangerous to your health?
