So You Think You Can Dance is slowly invading Dancing with the Stars and I am one happy camper about it! ABC announced the pairings today and Lacey Schwimmer has two more So You Think You Can Dance dancers joining her on the show this season! Season 2’s Dmitry Chaplin and Season 4’s Chelsie Hightower will be lacing up their Dancing show this season.

Seriously with the additions of Dmitry and Chelsie, I am actually excited for this season of Dancing with the Stars!!! That and I also like having Jonathan Roberts on the show again and him dancing with Belinda should be great! I think another great pairing is DAG and Kym Johnson, they should be cute together! I also like that Karina and Tony were stuck with duds. Can I tell you I wouldn’t miss either if they were off the show…them and Maksim!

Poor Lacey Schwimmer is paired with Steve-O for the 8th (her second) season of Dancing with the Stars. The Jackass announced his pairing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night and I pray for Lacey. He is such a polar opposite from Lance Bass for the So You Think Can Dance finalist. Hopefully the 11 month sober star won’t be his typical self. And after seeing him on JKL! looks like he is taking this seriously! Sadly though I think they both have their work cut out for them because if last season was any hint, the Judges are going to be tough on them. The Judges were so unfair towards her and she had Lance last season that I have a feeling they are already biased against Steve-O for who he is that she could do the best dance and they will give her a 10…total.

As expected Julianne Hough will be dancing with her real life boyfriend Chuck Wicks on the new season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars which makes me wonder if that is fair. The two who have been dating for several months and c'mon you are going to tell me that she hasn't been teaching dancing moves all this time. So I say that this couple has an unfair advantage and if I were the people competeing on the show, I would make a stink about it.
ABC and Dancing with the Stars have released the names of the stars(?) for season 8 and all I have to say this is the worst group of names yet. When David Alan Grier and Belinda Carlisle are the best they have to offer, you know it is sad. Seriously I have nothing to say because there really is no reason for me to give a dang about this season or the people that are part of it. Which I think says it all.
Dancing with the Stars will be back on March 9th if you care to watch. I think I might opt out of this season and get back the hours of my life I normally give this show.
Life & Style is saying that earlier rumored "stars" Denise Richards and Steve-O are confirmed for Dancing with the Stars 8. While InTouch Weekly is saying Jewel, who is the wife of a rumored contestant that didn't happen last season is confirmed for this season. If those are the names that the ABC show booked, I think I got 3 hours a week of my life back.
Seriously Steve-O? The Jacka$$ will be the first one eliminated, so why even bother? Jewel shouldn't she be hosting Nashville Star or something so we don't have to look at her teeth? And Denise Richards she will be the pretty girl with no personality that the Judges will love and the rest of us will be like yawner.
I really hope the names are way better when ABC announces them during their primetime lineup on Sunday from 8-11p.
