Last night Larry King was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and after watching the two of them together it reconfirms my thoughts that CNN made a huge f*cking mistake by letting him go and bringing Piers Morgan on to replace him.
Seriously how awesome was it watching the two of them interacting together like that? I love how they both played with each other whether it was Craig doing the interview or Larry. I mean the former CNN host was able to get the late night talk show host to admit stuff he never admitted.
I am not going to tell you what they said because, you know what, you really have to make the time to watch all three segments from last night’s show. It was truly a great hour of television. I wish there were more of them, but with hosts like King, Oprah and Regis retiring these moments are becoming a thing of the past…sadly. Well at least we still have Craig and he (and Jimmy Kimmel) is the hope for future television.
Jane Fonda was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on her 73rd birthday and at one point during the interview she proclaimed, “I just thought, I am glad my dad isn’t around because he would not approve of this conversation.” You have to watch the whole chat to see why all of it wouldn’t have approved of all it.
Seriously Jane is one cool grandmother and I just love how frank she was with the Scottish host. Can you believe she is 73? She looks f*cking amazing! I am going to buy her Prime Time Work Outs, so I can look like her!

This year the big story from late night television were the late night wars between Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno. Well even though we saw the negative side of late night TV through most of 2010, it isn’t going to end that way because direct competitors Jimmy Fallon and Craig Ferguson sent each other presents. The two hosts opened each others gift on their talk shows and I thought that the Late Late Show’s host present was purrfect, but the Late Night one’s warmed my heart! Actually I think it is sweet that even though one of them is one NBC and the other is one is CBS, they still made time to show there could be peace on late night television earth!
Neil Patrick Harris was on The Late Late Show yesterday and he told Craig Ferguson that needs to fly in breast milk for his daughter Harper. What he tells Craig is something I never thought I would hear him say. I guess as the How I Met Your Mother star said he has slept since he brought the twins home and that is a good thing for us. Yesterday Russell Brand was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and he attacked poor innocent Robot Skeleton Sidekick Geoff Peterson. The attack was so bad that at one point, Mr Electric Blue Eyes was scalped and lost his metallic mohawk. To make it even worse Mr Katy Perry then proceeded to poor water in his exposed head. Lucky for Geoff, Grant Imahara made him indestructible and he survived getting the brains beat out of him as per the conversation I had with the absolutely amazing publicist who works on the show.
I am not sure why Russell attacked him, but I think he is jealous that Geoff is the only person in Hollywood that is skinner than him. Good thing for Secretariat he had the night off because I fear what The Tempest star would’ve done to him…
Finally whether you want to see what he did to Geoff or you just need a good laugh, watch that whole interview because it is one of the funniest chats I have ever seen on the CBS show that airs weeknights at 12:37a.
