Jon Cryer was on Conan O’Brien’s talk show yesterday and the TBS late night host shared a picture of his guest when he played Duckie in the coming of age classic Pretty in Pink. The two men talked about his beautiful mane of hair when he was in that timeless movie and then Cryer admitted it’s pretty much all gone now. Wait, what? The Two and a Half Men star looks like he has a full head of hair on the CBS sitcom. I mean look at him. Well just like Hollywood, it is fake. So how does he get that illusion of having hair? He went into detail about it and it is basically people rolling something like a black shoe polish all over his head and then adding a powder on top of it. I totally wouldn’t have known, had I not seen pictures of him without the paint and powder. They really do an amazing job with it and he has such a great attitude about it. Seriously don’t you just adore how lovable he comes off during interviews? You just want to hug him and squeeze him and show him what a mistake Molly Ringwald made by not choosing him. If it were up to me, I would’ve gone for a three-way because there was no way I was going to decide between Andrew McCarthy and him! In fact, I still can’t decide which one I would choose because they both aged so nicely!

Chris Hemsworth was on Conan O’Brien’s show yesterday and the TBS late night host asked him if people come up to him with Thor jokes. He said a bunch of people have told him the same one, but it isn’t very good. Here it is, “Thor meets a young maiden and they sleep with one another, have a wonderful night. The next morning Thor says ‘Fair maiden, I must confess and tell you who I am. I’m Thor!’ She says, ‘You’re Thor? I can hardly walk.'” It is so bad, that it is very funny!

Anna Faris was on Conan O’Brien’s show yesterday and she told the TBS late night host about what she used to do with Barbies when she was a kid. She told him that she would have murder mysteries with her dolls. One of them would be the killer, and the rest of them would have to figure it out. But there was also another element to the imaginary game, they were all part of a Barbie Whorehouse.
There really is nothing to add because her story says it all.

Jared Leto was on Conan O’Brien’s show yesterday and he told the TBS late night host what great lengths he went to for his upcoming movie Dallas Buyers Club. We all know that he took off a lot of weight for the movie. Did you know he also waxed off almost all of his body hair to play the transgender role? Thankfully, for him it was a period piece, so he didn’t have to wax down there. And he also wanted to let us know that he didn’t have a ’70s bush going on either.
Someone please tell me there is full frontal scene because I am curious to see how he manscaped for the part!

Rebel Wilson was on her boss’ show Conan yesterday and she told the TBS late night host how she is being censored on their ABC show Super Fun Night.
She told Conan O’Brien that the censors have an issue with her referencing dolphin rape, and he didn’t know what she meant. So she demonstrated it on Andy Richter and the sidekick will never be the same. Then the Pitch Perfect star said another thing they didn’t like, is a scene she shot in a bathing suit. What is so bad about that since we have seen her in Spanx? Well she added an old man’s beard to the bottom part, and as funny as it looked the ABC lawyers weren’t laughing and Conan sided with them. I am kind of bummed we won’t be seeing it because it actually sounds like it would be hysterical.
Now you might be wondering why I am saying Conan O’Brien is her boss? Well it is because of him she has this sitcom. Over the summer at the TCA ABC Summer Press Tour Day, the host explained how he got involved with the Rebel and her show. He said, “It happened very organically for me. Rebel was on the show as a guest, and as a lot of you know, I’ve been doing this is now for 20 years, and with three guests a night, do the math because I can’t.” Then when the laughter died down, he added, “And very occasionally, very rarely, but occasionally, someone’s on the show who I haven’t met before, and it’s a revelation. And Rebel was on the show, and she was hilarious, and when the show was over, I stood up and I walked over to the executive producer Jeff Ross and just said, ‘I want her back tomorrow and the next day and the next day. She’s absolutely fantastic.'”
So he did his research on her and watched a show she did called Bogan Pride. When he finished it, he knew she was meant to be a TV star because she is “vulnerable, fearless” and one of the most likable actresses he has met in his two decades of doing this job nightly. So he had a meeting with her, and told her to come up with something. Then she returned with the idea for Super Fun Night and the rest is TV history.
Now that is boring part; here is their interaction during the panel, that shows what he saw in her. Rebel chimed in while he was explaining how the show came about, “And then you offered to put out if I went with your production.” To which he responded, “Yes. Yes, I did, and then I couldn’t perform.” So she defended him by adding, “Then I said I wasn’t into gingers anyway.” And that is when he knew he hit Aussie Gold, “Exactly. And then I realized she hates me as much as other women in my life hate me, and this could really work.” And work it did because together they have the #1 new comedy on Wednesday nights. So watch it tonight at 9:30p on ABC.
