Before Jane Lynch and Andy Richter shared Conan O’Brien’s couch as guest and sidekick, they shared one as Carol and Mike Brady in The Real Live Brady Bunch. How groovy are the 31-year-old actress and the 25-year-old actor in that 1991 production that was the brain child of Jill Soloway. You know, the woman behind Transparent!
Conan O’Brien traveled all the way to London to help Tom Cruise promote his movie American Made, and the TBS host wanted to do something different with the actor. Thus he called Jack Reacher and asked him to do a mission impossible. Translation, Conan asked Cruise to cruise with him. As in, he got Ethan Hunt to ride shotgun with him.
Would there be singing? Nope, that is James Corden’s thing. Would there be coffee? Nope, that is Jerry Seinfeld’s thing. What would they do then? Drive. That’s it, just drive. No questions because Conan needs to concentrate on his driving, so there was silence. Which really sucks because I wanted to hear the story Cruise was told by his A Few Good Men co-star Jack Nicholson. Anyways, after 3 and a half hours of touring London, there as only one thing for the Top Gun to do. I won’t tell you, you will just have to watch the hysterical video all the way through to find out. It’s the funniest thing that Cruise has done since Eyes Wide Shut. That was such a great comedic movie.
Now we finally know why Cruise hit the wall, he was trying to get away from Conan O’Brien. Can you blame him?
Bill Skarsgård is playing Pennywise in the It remake, and there is only so much scary the makeup department could make him. Some of it he needed to do himself and the most important thing was that creepy smile which is finishing touch for the frightening clown. A smile, he told Conan O’Brien, he learned from his older brother when he was just 10 years old and he would use it torture his younger brother. Seventeen years later that trick helped to land him a role that will haunt our nightmares as much as it did his little bro.
Talking about family, Bill Skarsgård looks more like Tim Curry’s (the actor who played him in the original movie) son than his own dad Stellan Skarsgård. What do you think?
When you look at Heather Graham, she appears to be so angelic. Turns out she has a naughty side to her and she likes to tell dirty jokes. Tonight on Conan, she told a joke about sperm that the TBS late night host did not get. Did you get it or is your mind as clean as she looks? Also do you find her humor funny or do you think it blows?
Conan O’Brien is in Israel filming a special upcoming episode of his late night TBS show there and he decided to experience the Dead Sea. If you going to enjoy the water, then you are going to want to do it in a bathing suit. Which means, a lot of his skin would be exposed to the sun. Revealing to us, he is whiter than white. Hopefully, the sun will give him some color because he is almost blinding. My poor eyes.
BTW is it just me or does he shadow kind of look like a Mermaid?
In all seriousness, Conan’s special episodes which have been shot around the World are must watch television shows. He has shown us places and experienced things in South Korea, Cuba, Armenia to name a few that no one else in America has documented on television, so I cannot wait to see what he has shot in Israel. He has already been to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the West Bank, had a Bar Mitzvah, hung out with Palestinians, got some training from the Israeli Army and met with Syrian refugees in a hospital. The only thing he has not done was get a circumcision, but he is still there so anything can happen! If that does not sound like something you want to watch, then I guess you do not like to be cultured.
