Elf, Home Alone, A Christmas story are great holiday movies, but they are all missing something. That something is dancing and Ellen DeGeneres showed us how much better it is with dancing. She had Clark Griswold, Santa Claus and many others shake their booties and Christmas is better holiday because of it! Get the egg nog, sit back and enjoy!
When we think of Josh Groban’s voice, we think of it as deep as the middle of the ocean. Turns out he can make it as high as the apple pie in the sky high.
Why does he sound like someone grabbed his balls, squeezed them and told him to sing. He was simply answering a question for ABC News. They wanted to know what his favorite Christmas song is. Not only did he tell them it is I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas by Gayla Peevey, he also sang part of the song for them like he was that 10-year-old girl belting it out back in 1953. Who knew he could hit those notes, but turns out he can. Now I wish I had phonograph player to play his album Noel in 45 rpm, just so I can hear him sing Little Drummer Boy in that higher voice. Pa rum pum pum pum!
On that note, the singer said that the best Christmas gift he got as a little boy was a drum set. Which makes that song even more fitting for his Christmas album.
BTW can you tell someone got into the Egg Nog a few days early?
This year when Conan O’Brien and the staff from his TBS show only get coal in their stockings Christmas morning, they will know why. This bit with a very naughty Santa Claus telling jokes that no kid who still believes him can hear. Heck, even their parents might not be old enough hear them. Since I do not have kids, I enjoyed every joke including the Kevin Spacey ones! Therefore, I too will only get coal in my stocking. And it is worth it because it feels so nice to watch such a naughty naughty Santa!
Tana Benson was so excited that her little girl was going to play the sheep in the local Christmas program, that she just had to record it. This way she can enjoy whenever she wants to see it. What she did not expect is that her when her baby sheep saw Baby Jesus in nativity scene, that she would she would take such an instant liking to it. So much so, the toddler took the doll out of the cradle and started to hug it. Well, mama Mary was not going to have that happen and tried to take her son back. Therefore, the two little girls were fighting over Baby Jesus and all the parents were laughing uncontrollably because they never saw a live nativity scene quite like this one and never will again!
For years the Grinch has eluded authorities, but not anymore. That is because the fine cops of Edison, NJ finally apprehended the thief as he tried to steal Christmas from an unsuspecting family. Thankfully, Edison TV was there to capture his capture on tape.
Not only that, the judge came down harder on him than Santa Claus when he comes down an oiled up chimney. She sentenced him to community service to get the holiday spirit back. All in the name of helping the police officers collect toys for their toy drive. Will it work? Of course it will because what kid would not want to show him the true meaning of Christmas?
Next year, hopefully they can work their magic on Ebeneezer Scrooge. Bah humbug!
