Rick Springfield does Christmas for the troops!
November 24th, 2007 under Christmas Music, Rick Springfield. [ Comments: 3 ]

Rick Springfield is releasing his first Christmas album in career that spans over 30 years. All proceeds from the recording of the song Christmas with You will be donated to support the US military veterans organization American Gold Star Mothers, Inc. The must have CD with 14 Christmas songs is selling for the bargain price of $9.98, and for that price I am going to buy myself something special for the season! Doesn’t he sound wonderful singing Christmas with You? Rick Springfield gets better with age and can you believe he is almost 60?

Sweet Kisses (Jessica Simpson) and Mariah Carey (Mariah) (check out both sites to read their holiday messages)
I guess when you don’t have a man in your life to pose with, your dog is the next best thing? Can Jessica’s dog look any more misreable?

A Winter Wonderland with Billy Idol

Winter Wonderland

Billy Idol’s MySpace
I have to admit I just love his sugary sweet Christmas videos! I don’t know why, but there is just something about them. Maybe there is a brainwashing effect to them and I am brainwashed? Either way, they are just happy! Tis the season to be happy!!!

Who else had a tear in their eye at the end of Studio 60?
December 5th, 2006 under Christmas Music, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

For those of you who do not watch Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Aaron Sorkin did a storyline about displaced musicians from New Orleans who were filling in for staffed musicians so they could send some Christmas gifts home to their families. When they ended the show with the New Orleans band playing O Holy Night, I swear I had a tear come to my eye. It was a really touching moment! I am not sure if you can get that from the clip above, but at least you can enjoy the music and get into the Holiday spirit!!!
BTW the trombone player really is from New Orleans and you check out Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews’ site here.
