It had to be Tony Bennett and Carrie Underwood on Blue Bloods!
August 1st, 2011 under Carrie Underwood, CBS, Tony Bennett. [ Comments: none ]

Tony Bennett might have left his heart in San Fransisco, but he will leave an impression on the season premiere of Blue Bloods. The singer that every other musician wants to duet with will be singing with Carrie Underwood on the CBS cop show. The two powerful voices will merge as one as they sing It Had to Be You at a fundraiser for the new Mayor. Frank Reagan aka Tom Selleck will be there to hear them duet, but I was kind of hoping that Donnie Wahlberg’s character would be there too so he could join in with them during the September 23rd episode.
Seriously who doesn’t love this show. I wasn’t expecting to like this show, but its my favorite new show from last season that is coming back for a second one.

UPDATE: The New Kid on the Block confirmed he didn’t work with Bennett and Underwood on Twitter, Donnie Wahlberg Tweeted “Carrie Underwood & Tony Bennett were here today on the Blue Bloods set… I was busy chasing bad guys and missed them! :(” Bummer.

NHL player Mike Fisher has scored the winning goal with Carrie Underwood because he asked the American Idol to marry him and she said Yes. No details were given. but the Senators player told the Vancouver Sun, “It’s true. We’re both obviously excited and very happy.” No date was announced for their wedding date either, but you know she will be one beautiful bride!

UPDATE: MJ’s Blog posted a picture of Carrie Underwood’s engagement ring and I have to say that Mike Fisher did a good job.

Poor Carrie Underwood
October 23rd, 2008 under American Idol 1-5, Carrie Underwood, Madame Tussauds. [ Comments: 2 ]

Poor Carrie Underwood. She gets a wax figure molded after her and it looks more like it should be her mother than her.

How does Faith Hill feel about losing to Carrie Underwood?
November 7th, 2006 under Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Unadmirable People. [ Comments: none ]

The moment of the night, at least backstage and on a lot of TiVos, belonged to Faith Hill.Even though she didn’t win. Hill, a nominee for female vocalist, was on camera along with fellow contenders Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Gretchen Wilson and Carrie Underwood. When Underwood was announced as the winner, the camera caught Hill with arms raised, as if poised to accept, then a split second later mouthing a surprised, “What?” Sandra Westerman of Borman Entertainment, Hill’s management company, says Hill was just joking and didn’t know she was on camera: “She would never disrespect one of the other artists.”
USA Today (Thanks Clinton!)
I can’t wait to hear if she will be all like Kanye West and all and say she was drunk or will she tell the truth???
