The ’90s are coming to HGTV, and Millennials are screaming as if they are at a New Kids on the Block concert.
Family Matters’ Jaleel White is hosting Totally ’90s House. Two teams of ’90s celebrities are competing to renovate houses that are stuck in the time that their shows aired.
It will be Brian Austin Green (Beverly Hills, 90210), Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven) and Jodie Sweetin (Full House) versus Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Matthew Lawrence (Boy Meets World), and Keshia Knight Pulliam (The Cosby Show) with help from Matthew’s brother Joey Lawrence (Blossom).
“Everybody loves the ’90s again,” said host Jaleel White. “The fits are back, the playlists are on repeat, and kids who weren’t even born yet are binge-watching the shows we made famous. But while some things from the ’90s are timeless…some of y’all never got the memo that the decade ended. We asked America to show us the homes still living in the past, and the response was incredible. Now it’s time for the ultimate throwback transformation. Get ready for the biggest ’90s house battle ever.”
The winning team gets to donate $25,000 to their charity of their choice.
Brian Austin Green worked constantly as a child actor in the ’80s. However, there was a show that he was fired from early on in his career.
Which show was it? He told Danielle Fishel, Will Friedle, and Rider Strong on their podcast, Pod Meets World podcast, that he was hired as a guest star on My Two Dads. However, after the run-through, executive producer Michael Jacobs fired him because he didn’t like the way he read the lines.
That was the one and only time he was fired from a project. However, that was not the only child that Jacobs fired. The podcasters shared with him that Jacobs, who went on to produce Boy Meets World, fired 10 kids in the first five episodes of that sitcom. Then Fishel revealed that he tried to fire her on her first day, and that she was replacing someone who had been let go for playing her role.
So it makes you wonder. If this guy, who seems to hate kids’ acting so much, why did he work on so many shows with children?
They also asked Green about his middle name. The actor explained that the name on his birth certificate was Brian Green. He got that name because his mother, who was struggling to give birth to him and his broad shoulders, told her husband to name him whatever he wanted. And he could only come up with Brian.
Fast forward to Brian Green joining SAG. There was another actor who had that name, so he had to add a middle name. He and his mom tried several different names until they settled on Austin. Do you think they made the right choice?
Ryan Reynolds is the father of four children and doesn’t want any more. Therefore, for last Father’s Day, he came up with a drink called Vasectomy with his Aviation American Gin.
While we don’t know if he was neutered, we do know that Brian Austin Green is. However, his future wife, Sharna Burgess, wants to give birth to his sixth child, second with him. Therefore, he needs to get a reverse vasectomy.
How is he going to do that? He will do it with the help of Tori Spelling. She is going to make him a Reverse Vasectomy with Reynold’s Gin.
And with that, he went home and made a baby with his fiancée.
Brian Austin Green is the father to five sons. And all of them were unplanned. In fact, Sharna Burgess was on birth control when they got pregnant with his youngest.
Now that he is 50, he decided to close shop because raising four young children is not easy. So he announced on his podcast Oldish with his fiancee and Randy Spelling that he got a vasectomy when his youngest son, Zane, was 8 weeks old.
Even though he is neutered, that doesn’t mean they are done having kids. However, if they decide to have another child, the betrothed couple will plan for it.
And the couple said there is a benefit to him being fixed. Sex is so much better.
So when are they getting married? They haven’t set a date and really aren’t planning it. So, who knows?
Green also shared a story from his Beverly Hills, 90210 days. One day, when they were filming on a beach, Ian Ziering pants him. As in, he pulled down his co-star’s bathing suit in front of hundreds of onlookers. Was Green embarrassed? Nope, he just pulled his bathing suit up. Ziering was the one left red-faced because Green’s bathing suit landed on his face.
Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess have a new chapter in their book. The couple announced today that they are engaged!
Burgess started dating in late 2020, did Dancing with the Stars a year later, welcomed their son, Zane, in June 2022, and now they are engaged.
The betrothed couple announced that they are getting married on Oldish with Randy Spelling. The Beverly Hills, 90210 star popped the question two months ago on his 50th birthday.
Burgess threw Green a surprise birthday party, and he thought this would be the perfect time to do it. So when everyone but the stragglers left, he brought her up to their bedroom and had his three sons, Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7, with Megan Fox and Zane, 1, take part in the proposal.
And Burgess would not have had it any other way. She was happy that her tribe was there for the big moment. And she is happy that one day soon, they will be the Green Tribe!
