Make a date with Undateable because it ends with One Big Happy!

Undateable was the summer’s biggest surprise hit, and tonight at 9p the highlarious comedy is back on NBC for its second season.
The whole gang is back at the bar and this time there is a new member working with them. Candace (Bridgit Mendler) is the new ditzy, but loveable waitress at Black Eyes bar. This role is a lot different from the one she played on Good Luck Charlie and it suits her. For her fans, you will be happy to hear she does sing on it.
When it comes to other guys, Justin (Brent Morin) is still dealing with his breakup to Nicki. So much so, Danny (Chris D’Elia) convinces him to try a one-night stand. Let’s just say no matter how much coaching Danny gives his roommate, Justin still manages to mess it up in his own special way. And Danny just makes it worse in his special way.
Then there’s Brett (David Fynn), Burski (Rick Glassman), Shelly (Ron Funches) and Leslie (Bianca Kajlich) and they are there to support their friends in their own special way. A way that makes you laugh so hard, you will be crying. Oh, and when it comes to Leslie, I will tell you she is the butt of all jokes tonight.
So tune into Undateable tonight and every Tuesday at 9p for a sitcom that is totally dateable!

Then at 9:30p, One Big Happy premieres on NBC. Lizzy and Luke have been best friends forever, they live together and now they are having a kid together. Why aren’t they together together? They both like the same thing, women. Everything has been going great for them until he meets Prudence and it is love at first sight and marriage on the second date. Now the three of them are living together as husband, wife and baby mama. How will it work out for them? You will just have to watch.
The show’s creator, Liz Feldman, wrote my favorite episode of 2 Broke Girls, so I had a lot of hope for the show. Sadly, that hope quickly faded with every episode I saw of the show and I saw four. The jokes and the chemistry feel forced, and Cuthbert is just unlikable. I hope that the show will get better, but sadly, I don’t think it will.

Bridgit Mendler is Undateable for life!

Undateable is back on NBC St Patrick’s Day (perfectly enough) at 9p and there is a new girl in the bar. Good Luck Charlie’s Bridgit Mendler is joining the highlarious sitcom and that is something to sing about. So much so, she is performing a song about it and the cast was there to help her out.
They might be Undateable, but they are also unbeatable when it comes to promoting their show that makes you laugh from the start until the end.
BTW the only thing that was missing from this music video is Ron Funches’ laugh. It is pure happiness.

NBC finally asked Undateable on a second date!
July 31st, 2014 under Bill Lawrence. [ Comments: none ]

Undateable’s season finale aired just over a month ago and today NBC finally picked up the hilarious sitcom for a second season according to the show’s Executive Producer, Bill Lawrence. I don’t know what took them so long because this has been the Peacock’s strongest sitcom in a really long time. It’s like a modern day friends but even wittier. They had so many jokes that you can incorporate into your daily like white girl emergency and slow motion celebration. Plus, that means we will get to hear Ron Funches’ girly laugh over and over again. And who doesn’t live for that?

Ron Funches’ laugh will light up your world like nobody else!
July 4th, 2014 under Bill Lawrence, Ron Funches. [ Comments: none ]

Undateable (NBC better pick up this sitcom for a second season) is one of those shows that makes you laugh nonstop and the thing that makes you laugh the most is Ron Funches giggle. When you look at the larger than life comedian, you don’t expect him to laugh the way he does. But as soon as he starts, you find yourself giggling like a little schoolgirl in puppy love, along with him. It is like Anderson Cooper, Ricky Gervais and the Pillsbury Doughboy got together, had a giggling baby and it is Ron Funches.
Seriously, I dare you to watch the above clip and not laugh. It’s nearly impossible.

Why Undateable is relatable!
June 26th, 2014 under Bill Lawrence. [ Comments: none ]

Undateable is NBC’s funniest sitcom in a long time, and some people might not be tuning into the hysterical comedy that airs tonight at 9p and 9:30p because of its name. Something Executive Producer, Bill Lawrence, knows all too well. You see one of his other sitcoms, Cougar Town, also suffers from the problem. It’s something he has come to accept as he admitted at a recent NBC Summer Press Day, “I’m not good at titling shows. I don’t know if that’s been a theme of my career.”
Even though the name, Undateable, might not be the best, the show’s creator, Adam Sztykiel, defends it. What he says about it makes sense as he explained that at some point we go through a phase where we are not dateable for many different reasons. So the concept of the sitcom is, “This is a show about six people that are sort of stuck in that period in a bit of a rut.”
You have Danny (Chris D’Elia) who just wants to have sex and doesn’t want to date. His sister, Leslie (Bianca Kajlich), is bitter from her recent divorce. Danny’s roommate, Bar owner Justin (Brent Morin), who just doesn’t know how to ask out the woman he likes. Justin’s bartender, Brett (David Fynn), who recently came out. Justin friend, Burski (Rick Glassman) who thinks he is smooth, but is anything but and he totally cannot and should not talk to women. Finally, there is Justin and Burski’s other friend, Shelly (Ron Funches) and I still can’t figure out why he is Undateable. And together these 6 friends are getting each other through this difficult time and some day they will be dateable. I just hope that is not for a long time because I want this show to go on and on and on.
So Undateable might not have the best name, but it definitely has the best chemistry, writing, acting and laughs on television now. Why not tune in because what else are you doing tonight. It’s not like you have a date. The only date you have is with Undateable at 9p for the hour on NBC! Don’t stand this show up. It wouldn’t like and you wouldn’t like missing out on the jokes you’ll be telling all of your friends about tomorrow and the next day and the day after that and so on.
