Courteney Cox still has a Friend in Lisa Kudrow because her former co-star is going to guest star on her new ABC show Cougar Town according to Michael Ausiello. She is going to play a doctor who Cox can't stop going to even though she is mean to her. Hmmm, I wonder what that means??? Out of all of Cox's Friends, I thought Jennifer Aniston should've been the one to guest star on the show. After all she has experience as a Cougar!!!
BTW Courteney might be gaining a Friend, Ausiello is reporting she is losing a boyfriend. He says that Nick Zano who is currently playing her cub, is in talks to join Melrose Place. Sounds like when the show producers said last week that they were going to make MP lighter and funnier, they weren't kidding. I like Nick Zano, but I just don't see him on MP the way the show is now and I don't really think I will enjoy the show if they want to make it a show I can see him on.
In the meantime catch him on the enjoyable Cougar Town tonight and every Wednesday on ABC at 9:30p
Scrubs was suppose to die last year, but miraculously it survived when ABC ignored the DNR and decided to pick it up. So when it started to air on ABC and the ratings were poo, you would think that the man that helped to create it who is now running the network, would to do the humane thing and let the show die. But now comes word from Variety that Stephen McPherson is in talks to bring the show back for another season. Stephen it is time to pull the plug and let the Scrubs die. It will be OK. Let it go, it is time. And keeping the show alive is cruel and unusual punishment for everyone who works on the show and the few people left who still watch it.
For those you of people who love Scrubs and were bummed that you were not going to get a proper goodbye for the show because of the WGA strike. Well looks like you might get more than a proper send-off because the Hollywood Reporter is reporting that ABC is considering picking up the show for 18 episodes next season. Personally I don’t get why this show won’t die but someone obviously likes it!

I am not bullshitting you when I tell you this might be the best ½ hour of television you will see this year. I know it’s weird for me to say that, since I’m in it, but I am just one part of it. The music, the dancing, the comedy writing, the emotion and drama at the end.. it’s really good. Please watch TONIGHT: Thursday, January 18th at 9pm eastern/pacific. Call the neighbors, call your lover, put the dog on your lap, grab some chips, put the Jenga game on hold and enjoy.

Thursday-night comedy Scrubs will be back for a seventh season on either NBC or ABC, according to creator Bill Lawrence. With the Touchstone Television-produced show now in syndication, Lawrence says, should NBC pass on bringing the show back, it will find a home at Touchstone’s corporate cousin, ABC. "Since every produced episode makes a ton of money for Touchstone," Lawrence says, "they told us not to write a finale for this year." The show has a strong chance of returning to NBC next year, he adds. "We’ve essentially been told that NBC is really happy with how we are doing. I would say it’s better than a coin flip we are back on NBC." Airing at 9 p.m. between The Office and rookie 30 Rock, Scrubs is averaging a solid 3.5 rating/9 share in the adult 18-49 demo as part of a Thursday-night comedy block that is cherished by NBC President Kevin Reilly. At a median age of 36.1, it is the network’s youngest-skewing primetime series. "NBC isn’t the same juggernaut anymore," Lawrence says, "but it still feels cool to be on Thursdays." But he understands that there is less financial motivation for NBC to keep the Touchstone-produced show on the network. "The show is a dinosaur, on one network and completely owned by another," he acknowledges. And Touchstone continues to show faith in the show. The studio greenlighted a Jan. 18 musical episode at double the cost of a typical installment. Lawrence also says that the show would not continue without star Zach Braff, but he "feels pretty good" that Braff is on board for a seventh and final season.
