Last week the first trailer came out for Bridget Jones’ Baby and Batman vs Superman was released in the theaters. Jimmy Kimmel Live thought it would be brilliant to combine the two for one Batastic trailer. You know what it is so super, I wish someone would actually make Batman & Superman vs Bridget Jones. Don’t you?
On Thursday, Warner Bros released the first trailer for The Lego Batman Movie and today they released the second one. So if you are still pissed that Ben Affleck was cast as The Caped Crusader after watching Batman vs Superman this weekend, then after watching the plastic version of Gotham’s superhero singing his theme song with no instead of na as he has a fit will make you feel better. As soon as you see that you will forget all about Batfleck and George Clooney in the roles. There’s always space to go off as Clooney as Batman!

Batman vs Superman brought in an estimated $170,100,000 this weekend in The US, making it the #1 opening weekend at the box office in the Spring, in March, during the Easter holiday weekend, for DC Comics, for Batman and for Superman releases to date. According to Box Office Mojo, it earned around $40,099 per theater and it was shown in 4,242 theaters. Pretty super!
So super, it makes sense that Jimmy Fallon had the animated versions of Batman and Superman sing LL Cool J’s Mama Say Knock You Out because that is what it did to a lot of other previous record holders.
One interesting note, even though DC comics dominates on the small screen, it does not translate to the big screen. Batman vs Superman has the 4th best opening weekend in the comic book world, Marvel Comics still holds the top three slots.
If you saw The Lego Movie, then you know that Batman was the breakout star. Now, he is getting his own movie next year and I can’t wait for it to come out after watching the trailer for The Lego Batman Movie.
Who doesn’t want to watch someone watching their food cook in the microwave. Seriously, though can that film look any cuter?
The only negative, is ever since I heard Will Arnett voice the Caped Crusader that is all I see him as.
The first trailer is out for Suicide Squad and that is the best use of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody in cinema. How brilliantly does the legendary song work with the premise of the anti-superhero movie?
On that note, I like that between Deadpool and this film, superheroes are no longer good guys! It is about time they were bad because bad is good! And because of that I can’t wait to see this movie on August 15th!
