Some of you might’ve forgotten, but once upon a time Val Kilmer played Batman on the big screen. Since then George Clooney, Christian Bale, David Mazouz and Ben Affleck have all played Bruce Wayne. But on February 10th, Will Arnett will take on the caped crusader in a whole new way, he is Lego Batman. (Yes he played him in The Lego Movie, but now he has his own film.)
Anyways, when Kilmer saw the poster for the newest Batman movie, he simply said, “I’ve nothing more to say. Except maybe “Been there done that…” And with that, the mic is dropped!
It was 50 years ago when Cesar Romero took on the role of Joker in Batman the television series and since then he has been played and voiced by many other people. Burger Fiction edited a 9 minute video of The Evolution of The Joker and we watched him transform from crazy clown to a psychotic one throughout the half century. Some were better than others, one, Heath Ledger, even won an Oscar. But no matter how many men get behind the white face, Jack Nicholson will always be my favorite. Who is yours?
The new trailer for The Lego Batman Movie was released at San Diego Comic Con and I love how they explain Robin. So much so, I hate that we have to wait until 2017 to see it. Why can’t it come out now?
Seriously, isn’t Will Arnett the most lovable Batman since Adam West?
Back in the ’60s, television was a lot purer and more innocent than it is today. Married couples had to sleep in different beds, Barbara Eden had to hide her belly button on I Dream of Jeannie and Batman & Robin had to hide their bulges in their tight costumes.
How did they do that? Joan Collins revealed that secret on The Graham Norton Show this past Friday and it is a real wham, bam, pow. In other words a shocker. She said that Adam West told her they used drugs to make their Boy Wonders less wondrous. They made their Batman sized junks the size of one that would belong to a real bat. Basically there was a drug robin us blind of West’s and Burt Ward’s bedroom weapons. What was this unmiraculous drug? She didn’t say and I hope we never find out. Men need to keep whatever inches they have and should not risk it for art.
Granted actors don’t have to deal with this problem anymore because editing can make even the biggest bulge disappear. Which I, as a woman, hate!

Last week the first trailer came out for Bridget Jones’ Baby and Batman vs Superman was released in the theaters. Jimmy Kimmel Live thought it would be brilliant to combine the two for one Batastic trailer. You know what it is so super, I wish someone would actually make Batman & Superman vs Bridget Jones. Don’t you?
