Can someone explain Seth Rogen’s popularity to me?
June 22nd, 2010 under Apatow Productions, Seth Rogen. [ Comments: 4 ]

So the first trailer for The Green Hornet is out and I would want to see that movie if Seth Rogen wasn’t in it. I don’t know what it is about him, but he just irritates me and every time he came on my back cringed and I lost interest in the movie. I just don’t get his appeal and cannot see him as a superhero. Even Christoph Waltz could not get me to see this movie when it comes out January. You know what would get me to see this movie is if they can edit out all of Rogen’s scenes, but for some reason I don’t think that is going to happen.
BTW does his voice put anyone else besides me to sleep, it is just so monotone and boring. On a positive note, since he lost the weight I know which one he is and which one Jonah Hill is. Granted I also know who Hill is because I can actually stand him and watch his movies.

Seth Rogen dissed and not kissed by Megan Fox
July 31st, 2009 under Apatow Productions, Jimmy Kimmel, Megan Fox, Seth Rogen. [ Comments: 4 ]

Two years ago Seth Rogen was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! the same night as Megan Fox and she asked him if he would stay when she was on. So he being the courteous man that he was obliged and tried to go for the traditional late night male guest to female kiss. Only one problem, she just touched him arm and walked on by and he has been scarred ever since. Jimmy Kimmel being the nice man that he is decided to remind Rogen of that moment over and over and over again when he was on the show yesterday! I just love Seth’s reaction then and now to diss and no kiss. I actually feel so bad for him and can understand why she did, but that didn’t stop me from laughing at him. You know he probably took it so much worse at the time because it was a raw time for him since it was so close to when he had to film a fake sex scene with Katherine Heigl in Knocked Pp.
BTW tonight on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC at 12:05a he has on Anne Heche and next week he has on Ashton Kutcher (Tue), Vanessa Hudgens (Wed) and Quentin Tarantino (Fri).

Funny People doesn’t look that funny
July 8th, 2009 under Apatow Productions. [ Comments: 1 ]

I know I am in the minority, but I just don’t get the whole Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen thing which could be why I am not feeling the Funny People trailer. I had a few chuckles thanks to Adam Sandler only, but I laughed harder during the trailer for Couples Retreat. It is not that I don’t like Judd Apatow films because I laughed my a$$ off during Walk Hard. I think it is because I am just not that into Seth Rogen, I think he is just so overrated. The one good thing I will say is the more Apatow casts Rogen and Jonah Hill together, the better I am getting at telling them apart…I think.

Seth Rogen is such the copycat
February 26th, 2008 under Apatow Productions, Jimmy Kimmel, Kevin Smith, Seth Rogen. [ Comments: 2 ]

via Quick Stop (very NSFW)
Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks parodied the whole Jimmy Kimmel videos of Sarah Silverman f*cking Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel f*cking Ben Aflleck on the set of Kevin Smith’s new movie Zack And Miri Make A Porno. I don’t think it is as funny because the bleeps actually work to make the video funnier, don’t you think?
I also think that Kevin Smith is behind this video because he is jealous that Matt and Ben didn’t call him to be part of the videos…afterall the two owe him big time because he helped to produce Good Will Hunting. So now I wonder who will f*ck Silent Bob?
Thanks Mark!
