Did John Stamos audition for America’s Got Talent?
February 18th, 2012 under America's Got Talent, Full House, John Stamos, The Osbournes. [ Comments: none ]

Sharon Osbourne Tweeted this picture of her looking enamored with John Stamos “@JohnStamos is here at #AGT. I love him.” So did the man who can act, sing and play drums audition for the NBC variety competition show? Nope Uncle Jesse was just there to support his friend Howard Stern who joined the show’s judging panel this season.
Too bad he wasn’t there to be on the show because I know I would be watching to see what else can he do and so would a lot of people.

Howard Stern’s Got Talent and I get several hours back this summer!
December 15th, 2011 under America's Got Talent, NBC. [ Comments: 1 ]

NBC announced today that Howard Stern will be replacing Piers Morgan on America’s Got Talent and I am announcing that I will not be watching the show anymore. Stern is not for me, his voice and schtick bother me. I know the Shock Jock is a big teddy bear, but I just didn’t want an obnoxious Brit replaced by obnoxious New Yawker. On that note, the show is leaving its LA studios for NY to accommodate him. I wonder if that means Sharon Osbourne will announce she is leaving her day job because of it?
Now back to Stern, I am sure AGT will lose a lot of viewers because of him. But they will also be picking up new viewers because of him. I also expect that a lot of the Burlesque and big chested women will advance to the next round.
On the woman of the show note, I feel for Sharon being sandwiched because a Howie and a Howard because that is going to get confusing for her and Nick Cannon.
Finally he is a big reason I am giving up the show, but it is also because I have not been with the winner since season 2. So thank you NBC for giving me back several hours during the summer.

Piers Morgan no longer Got Talent!
November 9th, 2011 under America's Got Talent, NBC, Piers Morgan. [ Comments: none ]

Piers Morgan announced on show tonight that he is leaving America’s Got Talent. Since barely anyone watches his CNN show, most people found about the news from his Twitter account where he basically Tweeted what he said.
Morgan is the only on-camera person that has been with the show since day one, and I for one am so happy he is gone from the NBC Variety challenge. I hated his pompous attitude and how mean he was to the contestants by buzzing them to see if they would f*ck up. He tried to be like his old boss, and Piers you are no Simon Cowell. The only thing I will miss is co-judge Howie Mandel torturing him with his jokes. Those were good.
While I won’t miss him Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel and Nick Cannon will because they each took to Twitter and responded to his decision. Sharon said, “Piers please don’t go.” Howie chimed in with, “I guess I’m more annoying than I thought. I’ll miss you @piersmorgan” And lastly Nick joked,”@PiersMorgan NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Now who’s outfits am I going to make fun of?” and then added “First the FatBoys break up now @PiersMorgan is leaving Americas Got Talent?! We will miss you ol’ friend”
Personally I can’t wait to see who they get to replace him! Is it wrong for me to wish that they get someone who is American born to sit at the Judges’ table? But I will overlook that if they get someone who changed the for better like Howie! The Hoff was good, but Howie is a million times better!
BTW I just thought of something brilliant…now that Piers Morgan is no longer on America’s Got Talent, I can go back to not even knowing he exists!!!

It’s war between the judges on America’s Got Talent!
July 21st, 2011 under America's Got Talent, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

If you have been watching this season of America’s Got Talent, you know that there has been some tension between Howie Mandel and Piers Morgan because of the jokes that the comedian has been playing on the CNN host. Well on Tuesday night it was taken to a whole a new level when Howie tried to cool Piers down by squirting him with water during the show. It seems it got to Morgan because yesterday he got his revenge on Howie by squirting him with a Super Soaker when they were walking the red carpet. The bald judge being who he is found a much smaller water gun and squirted him in he crotch. You know there will be retaliation for the water fight, and I can’t wait to see how the other judges get Piers back.
Oh did I forget to mention that Piers also soaked Sharon Osbourne? She responded on Twitter by saying, “@piersmorgan This means war!” You know there will be a lot of water drawn on Tuesday’s episode of the NBC reality show.
Is it wrong for me to hope that there is one causality between the judges when the show comes back next season and his name in Pier Morgan?

The best season of America’s Got Talent starts tonight!
May 31st, 2011 under America's Got Talent, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

America’s Got Talent is back for its sixth season tonight on NBC at 8p and Piers Morgan and Howie Mandel said this is the best season thus far. A few weeks the judges including Sharon Osbourne and host Nick Cannon met with reporters to preview the upcoming season and the CNN anchor said there was one city that had more good acts than some of the previous entire seasons. Morgan said, “We had better talent in Atlanta over three days than we’ve had in some entire seasons this year, and I have been on every season. And there was one act in particular that I said at the time and I meant it was the most exciting audition I’ve ever seen in Britain or America. The talent level has been incredible this season. People won’t believe what they are seeing.” He didn’t say what that act was, but I wonder if it is the one that Howie described later on. The bald headed comedian described one audition that stood out, “We have a burlesque act who pulls doves out of her privates.” The poor doves is all I can say about that.
But that isn’t the only risky or risque act that we will see during the auditions because here is what Howie told us, “That being said, it’s been the most dangerous year. We have had some thrills and spills that I have never seen before. I mean, I came this close to seeing almost near death experiences right in front of my eyes, and they were not planned. And I don’t know if NBC is going to air them, but I’m telling you that it’s probably the most dangerous show on television, the most exciting show on television, and I’m thrilled to be part of it because to be witness to this besides watching somebody take the journey and come from obscurity to hopefully the next big star, I’m seeing things that I have never seen before. There isn’t a place to see this on television. There aren’t places that have these kind of performances live.”
There really isn’t, so don’t miss a single minute of the show that launched the career of a man who has now made over $100 million for playing his dolls!
