| Simon Cowell/Instagram Simon Cowell has missed the last three weeks of America’s Got Talent because he underwent back surgery related to his 2020 electric bike accident.
Kenan Thompson filled in the first week. Heidi Klum sat in his seat the following week. And no one stepped in for him last week.
This week is the finale. So we have been wondering if Cowell will be well enough to make an appearance. Sadly, it looks like he will not make it.
According to The Sun, the 66-year-old judge will be missing Britain’s Got Talent’s auditions, which are scheduled to be filmed in October, because he needs more time to recover.
A source told the paper: “Simon is of course gutted to be missing the auditions, but it’s important that he rests up now so he can make a full recovery.
“It was a routine op that went well, and he knows the team will find a fun guest judge to spice up filming and keep the audience on their toes.”
So will we see Simon? We will find out Tuesday night during the first night of the two-night finale.

Simon Cowell is on medical leave from America’s Got Talent because he needed to get routine back surgery due to his electric bike accident in 2020.
Therefore, the talent show needs replacements while he is recovering. Today, they announced that Kenan Thompson will be sitting in his seat on Tuesday.
Hopefully, if he does a good job, Cowell will bring him back as a replacement next season. It would be nice to have an American-born judge for the first time since Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union.

| Trae Patton/NBC America’s Got Talent started its live shows last week, and now we are learning that Simon Cowell will be missing from the show for the next few weeks.
According to TMZ, he will be undergoing a routine surgery related to his 2020 back injury from an electric bike accident.
It is unclear how much time the creator of the show and head judge will need off, and who will replace him. I am sure we will learn more tomorrow when the talent competition series goes live.
Who do you think should replace him and sit next to Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Sofia Vergara? I think they should bring back Heidi Klum, who departed AGT to return to Project Runway.

Tonight on America’s Got Talent, we found out that Mel B is not a fan of her co-judge, Howie Mandel. Well, not him, but his impersonator, Marcus Monroe.
When the comedian walked out on stage looking like the St. Elsewhere star, she not only hit her buzzer, but all the ones near her before he even said a single word.
Luckily for Monroe, they let him do his act. To see if Scary Spice made the right choice, then click here!

Mel B and Howie Mandel have been reunited on America’s Got Talent this season. However, the comedian is never far away from the newlywed’s heart, and her husband, Rory McPhee, is so OK with it. In fact, he is the one who told his wife to do that.
What? Scary Spice tried to scare Howie by wearing a t-shirt with his face all over it. It was what Mr. B wanted, really, really wanted! And it gave her AGT co-judge a zig-a-zag ah.
