Yesterday was the first American Idol live show and one of the judges was not there for the start of the show. Nicki Minaj claims she was stuck in traffic and that is why you didn’t see her at the judges table until a 1/3 of the way through on the show.
I am sorry, but there is no excuse for not being there on time. She should’ve been then way earlier for hair and makeup because she looks like she needs it. But not only that you would think she would want to prep for her first live appearance on the Fox singing competition. I thought that working on Idol was a full day’s job during the live shows, so I don’t get why she couldn’t be there by 5p.
Now when it comes to her traffic excuse, I don’t get why she was taking the 405 to get there. Taking that route is really out of the way to get to where they tape Idol.
If I were Idol, I would dock her salary for the day. Try to teach her lesson. Then I would make her apologize tonight during the live show for not respecting the viewers enough to be there on time. Finally and most importantly I would hire her a run down smelly limo and have it pick her up at 12n. This way there’s no excuse why she can’t be down at TV City by 5p.
As much as I would punish her for her tardiness, I am sure Mariah Carey punished her even more than I can dream of. I mean her face says it all. She is so f*cking pissed!
Simon Cowell is one of the World’s Most Eligible Men because of his bank account and ladies he is single again! He told Sunday People that Carmen Electra and him are just friends now, and he is looking for a replacement. He said, “I’m now a single man. We spent time together and she is so much fun. But I’d like to find a girlfriend.” Then he added, “I do particularly like British women but I haven’t got my eye on anyone.†So girls if you see him, ask him out because he is willing and able!
How long until he comes up with a reality show where he is the next Flavor Flav or Bret Michaels? I would apply to be on that show because of the big bulge in his pants, not the one in the front but the one in the back!
Looks like Simon Cowell’s Xperiment to make a Kardashian a host has failed because The NY Post is reporting that Khloe Kardashian won’t be back in the fall. She is the latest person to leave the singing competition that has been more of a failure than a success. Since the show started Cheryl Cole, Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul, Steve Jones, LA Reid and Britney Spears have all left the show either voluntarily or were asked to leave. Considering the show has only been on for two seasons, that is pretty horrendous. When is Fox going to give The X Factor the X already? I mean neither winner has started their career and no one cares that they haven’t. Plus the ratings are so-so. Yes they are good enough for Fox, but they are OK for what it should be. What will be the final factor to give the show the X? I guess we will have to wait to find out when Simon Cowell returns with the show in the fall with Mario Lopez, Demi Lovato and whomever else they add on only to fire a few months later.
Steven Tyler came out and auditioned for American Idol yesterday. He did not audition as himself, but as a Dude who really Looks Like a Lady. In fact the former-AI Judge was so beautiful with all of the makeup, I think he should consider really becoming a lady! Don’t you agree?
BTW I wonder if Steven Tyler gave himself a creepy leer (hit on himself) after he saw himself in drag?
If Simon Cowell isn’t wearing a black T-Shirt that isn’t as least two sizes too small or no shirt at all, then he is wearing a something that shows off his hairy cleavage. All I have to say to all of those looks is that none of them have the X Factor. I know he thinks he is a Right Said Fred song, but I don’t know anyone else who does. Do you think he is as sexy as only he knows it?
