Did you watch the 2016 movie Sausage Party and think this would make a great series? Well, you are not alone. Prime Video thought the same thing, so they are giving its own show in 2024.
Sausage Party: Foodtopia will include the film’s stars Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton, with the additions of Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yassir Lester voices.
I can’t wait to watch it with my nieces. Although, by 2024, they will be old enough to get the jokes. Damn it. Can’t the animators draw faster?
As We See It is the most important show about Autism on television, but it wasn’t important enough for Amazon Prime to give it a second season and it is a huge mistake.
The series starred Rick Glassman, Sue Ann Pien, and Albert Rutecki as three Autistic people living in the same apartment. Not only did their characters have it, but so do all of the actors. The show is created by Jason Katims, who has a child with it. He also Joe Mantegna as the father of Glassman, and the Criminal Minds star is a parent of a child with Autism.
This scripted drama was normalizing Autism in adults. Amazon Prime should’ve renewed this show because it was telling an important story. I hope that someone saves it because it deserves to be saved.
The Boys has a new episode up on Prime Video, and Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) is free to shake things up. I mean, blow things up.
But I got ahead of myself. Last week, Kimiko’s (Karen Fukuhara) fate was left up in the air after she got injured by Soldier Boy. Today, we learn how his attack affected her.
She is not the only one changing Butcher (Karl Urban) and Hughie (Jack Quaid) are dealing with the new powers from Compound V. How is Starlight (Erin Moriarty) going to handle it when she finds out Hughie is on the stuff? Not as bad as what happens at the end of the episode.
Before we get to that climax, we get to see a special guest star climax, as in masturbation. Did you expect any less from The Boys? You didn’t, and that is why we love it!
Prime Video released The Boys’ fourth episode of season 3 today, and they had some news to share about the series. The show will be back for another season!
“Speaking for the cast and crew, we’re so grateful to Sony, Amazon, and most of all the fans for embracing the show and allowing us to make more,” said Eric Kripke, The Boysshowrunner. “We’re thrilled to continue Butcher and the Boys’ fight against Homelander and the Seven, as well as comment on the insane world we’re living in. Also, this is the first time in history that exploding genitalia has led to further success.”
There are no exploding genitalia in the latest episode, but we get to hear Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) sing! And that is almost as good. Well, that and a fight scene that leaves someone dead and someone resurrected. Are they say the same person? You will have to stream it to find out.
The Boys are back in town on Prime Video, and they are out for blood. Well, not that they are, but the producers are, so be prepared to see it. Lots of it.
There is so much that happens, and you need to enjoy it by watching it and not me telling you about it. What I will tell you is that this season starts off a year after the last one left off.
The Boys has disbanded, but Butcher (Karl Urban) is still hunting down Supes. Hughie (Jack Quaid) has a real job, and he is still dating Starlight (Erin Moriarty), who is still part of what is left of the Seven. However, they are looking for replacements. And they might want to replace Homelander (Anthony Starr), who is losing it.
He needs to go, but how do you get rid of someone who is indestructible? You find the one Supe who can do it, even though Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) is dead. Or is he? I can’t tell you that, but I can tell you are not going to want to miss the beginning of episode 4 on Friday.
I can also tell you that the first death of the season is one you will not be forgetting anytime soon. I still can’t unsee it. So I know you want to watch it to find out what I am talking about. Well, that and to watch a show where the superheroes are the villains.
