Upload is back on Prime Video for its third season, and Nathan (Robbie Amell) is back in a cloned mortal body.
You see, Nathan was murdered, and his girlfriend, Ingrid (Allegra Edwards), wasn’t ready to say goodbye to him. So she had his brain uploaded to Lakeview, a digital afterlife where Ingrid can still see him, and he can live with dead people like himself. Because it is 2033, and that is something you can do.
Nathan is given a mortal Angel, and he and his Angel, Nora (Andy Allo), fall in love. They decide they want to be together. So Nora downloads his brain into his cloned body. And with that, he is alive again. And that is where the second season left off.
Now, they have to adjust to being together in real life. Oh, and did I mention that Nathan remembered why he was murdered? Therefore, he is ready to stop the people who murdered him with Nora’s help.
Meanwhile, Ingrid is in Lakeview, and they don’t want her to know that Nathan is not there. So they clone him, and she is none the wiser. But will she figure it out?
That is the premise for the first two episodes that are streaming today. The remaining six will roll out two a week.
If you thought that The Boys was bloody great, then you need to be checking out the school-based spinoff that makes the OG look boring. And once you start watching, you will be wanting more. And today, Prime Video announced that we will be getting more episodes. As if there was any question?!?
“We couldn’t be happier to make a second season of Gen V. These are characters and stories we’ve grown to love, and we are thrilled to know people feel the same! The writers are already working on the new season—sophomore year is gonna be wild, with all the twists, heart, satire, and exploding genitalia you’ve come to expect from the show,” added showrunner Michele Fazekas and executive producer Eric Kripke.
That’s right, we get to see a penis explode! And when was the last time we saw that? Besides on The Boys. But still. As a woman, I welcome scenes like that!
Therefore, I can’t wait to see what other sick and twisted torture they come up with this season, which concludes on November 3rd, and the next one.
Can you think of another superhero adventure where the good guys are so good at being so bad than the ones in The Boys universe? Take that Doom Patrol! And Deadpool! I said it, Ryan Reynolds. Whatcha going to do about it?
They say good things come to those who wait. And we are getting a good thing because we have been waiting patiently for the delayed The Boys spinoff Gen V.
Godolkin University is America’s only college exclusively for young-adult superheroes (run by Vought International). From the world of The Boys comes Gen V, which explores the training of the first generation of superheroes to know about Compound V, and that their powers were injected into them rather than God-given. These young, competitive heroes put their physical and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school’s highly coveted top ranking. They quickly come to learn that ambition comes with sacrifice, and the difference between right and wrong is not as clear as they once believed. When the university’s dark secrets come to light, the students must come to grips with what type of heroes they are going to become.
The series stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi.
Gen V comes to Prime Video with its first three episodes on September 29th.
Vincent Rodriguez III is no stranger to topless scenes, thanks to Crazy Ex Girlfriend and With Love.
Therefore, he knows how to prepare for one. And now he is sharing his secret to making sure his six-pack abs look like a 12-pack. What is it? He does several push-ups right before he films the sexy scene.
Want to know if it works; then you can watch the second season of the romantic comedy on Prime Video now. I’ve seen it, and it does!
