You know the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has gone as far as it can go when Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, challenged, Bill Gates to do it. Although the man who gave us Microsoft did find one last person to challenge and that person is Elon Musk, inventor extraordinaire. So who is left for the father of PayPal to challenge? I don’t think there is anyone else. So we have reached that plateau. Or so it seems???
Now when it comes to Bill Gates, I said earlier today unless you can top Conan O’Brien, don’t do it and just donate the $100. Well, I can honestly say I think the computer genius turned philanthropist, did better than the talk show host! Who would’ve thought he was so funny?

For the last few weeks lots of celebrities like Matt Lauer, Kathie Lee Gifford, Chris O’Donnell, Martha Stewart, Justin Timberlake and so many more have taken part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Earlier this week, Larry King did it and he challenged Conan O’Brien to do the same. Yesterday, on his TBS late night show he accepted the challenge. Granted he only did it because he thought he was getting the money to do it, not that he had to do it and pay the money. Sadly, for him, and happily for us, he didn’t know that until after he did it. He he he!
I think this is by far the best version I’ve seen of the challenge; so if anyone can top this, go ahead. If you can’t, then just give the money to the ALS Association.
ALS is a horrible horrible disease. My uncle had it and before it fully kicked in, he told me he wanted to die. A man, who would walk around Miami Beach, found himself to be a prisoner in his own body. His kids having to bathe him and taking care of his motionless body, until his time finally came. I hope we can up with a cure for this debilitating disease in my lifetime, so that no one else has to suffer through it ever again.
So if these Ice Bucket Challenges are helping to do that, then I say they are a good thing and let the ice come raining down. You hear that the three people Conan challenged, Former-President Jimmy Carter, soccer legend Pele and that kid who sees dead people Haley Joel Osment.

Kathie Lee Gifford is just one of the many celebrities who has taken part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and her reaction might be the best one yet. While most of the people have done it outside or in their bathrooms, she did it in her bathtub. I guess, she should’ve downed the bottle of champagne that should be in that bucket before she had the ice in it poured on her head. Maybe it wouldn’t have been so shocking to her system.

Patrick Downes and Jessica Kensky challenged Justin Timberlake and The Tennessee Kids to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The singer not only accepted the challenge, he did it along with The Tennessee Kids.
Before the man who brought sexy back poured the bucket of ice ice baby on his head, he challenged three other people to do the same or donate $100 to the cause. Those three (well technically more) are Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and Steve Higgins, and they have 24 hours to the same or it will cost them a pretty penny, 10,000 to be exact. So will they do it or will they wimp out? We will just have to tune into The Tonight Show tonight on NBC to find out.
Now back to Justin, not only did he take the ice shower he also donated to the ALS Association. Hats off to him and The Tennessee Kids!

Earlier this week on Today, Matt Lauer took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge that Greg Norman challenged him to do. As part of the deal, he had to ask 3 other people to do the same thing or give $100 to charity. Those 3 people are Howard Stern, Brian Williams and Martha Stewart. Well one of those 3 took him up on his offer and it is the person I thought would be the least willing to do it. That person is Martha Stewart. And when she was done, she said “Oh Gd it’s cold.” Then she added, “Not so bad.” So I guess that proves that Domestic Goddess is also an Ice Queen because normal blooded people can’t handle that. Can we?
So who are three people, two are icier people than her and they’re Gwyneth Paltrow and Blake Lively, and one warm-hearted person, Ellen DeGeneres. Who do you think will pour a bucket of ice over their head for a good cause? I say on Ellen will do it, but then again you never know because Martha Stewart surprised me. Did you think she would be the only one on Matt’s list to actually do it? I can’t believe Brian Williams hasn’t done it yet. What’s up with that?
