Tim Daly finally decided to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and he did it differently than anyone else. He actually stuck his head through an ice bucket on the set of his new CBS show Madame Secretary, and had the ice poured on top of him. He definitely earned his wings for this!

Karate Kid’s Cobra Kai reunite for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!
August 29th, 2014 under ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Billy Zabka, Ralph Macchio. [ Comments: none ]

It has been 30 years since we got to know the Cobra Kai in The Karate Kid, and they reunited for a good cause. Johnny aka Billy Zabka challenged his Karate buddies to the endure the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and Jimmy, Bobby and Tommy all accepted it. Even Mr Miyagi couldn’t prepare Tony O’Dell, Ron Thomas and Rob Garrison for the pain they were about to feel. Good thing their Sensei was there, not to support them but to push Zabka to pour the water on them. Sadly, for Martin Kove, his students challenged him and immediately sought their revenge.
Too bad Danielson aka Ralph Macchio was nowhere to be found because they have been seeking revenge on him for three decades, and it’s about time they finally got it.
BTW I have been waiting for group to host a reunion for the challenge and I am glad it was these five guys.

It takes a criminal mind to use a body double for their ALS IBC!
August 29th, 2014 under ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Joe Mantegna. [ Comments: none ]

We have seen a lot of people unsuccessfully get out of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but none of them are as smart at Joe Mantegna. The Criminal Minds (which is back on CBS October 1st) star used a body double to face the ice water, but was it enough for him to whack the challenge? You just have to watch it to find out.
In honor of his brilliance, I will have a slice of Sicilian pizza at his restaurant Taste Chicago. Which is really good by the way, so if you are in Burbank you should try it.

Donald Trump and Dolly Parton get their ‘hair’ wet for the ALS IBC!
August 28th, 2014 under ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Dolly Parton, Donald Trump. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge got popular, I have been wanting to see two people do it. Today, Donald Trump and Dolly Parton heard my prayers and let their hair get wet for ALS.
In a millions years, OK since the viral sensation is dying down, did I expect either one of them to accept it. However, today both of them braved the water and we got see what their ‘hair’ looks like when it’s drenched.
I honestly thought that Donald Trump was going to look like Cousin It from The Addams Family, but sadly, he didn’t. In fact, it didn’t look like that front section was that long. So how does it create his look? Some mysteries I guess will always be left to the unknown. But there was one mystery solved today, and that is that Trump’s hair is real because fake hair could not have survived that.
Now when it comes to Dolly Parton, the Country Crooner, is just so gosh darn cute. Plus, her wig really held up to the challenge and stayed on. And you boys got to see her in a wet T-shirt. Something I am sure made you guys really happy.
Happy as I am that they accepted the challenge and donated money for a good cause.

Even the ALS IBC couldn’t make Grumpy Cat less grumpy
August 26th, 2014 under ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. [ Comments: 2 ]

Grumpy Cat is filming his first movie Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever for Lifetime and three of his costars accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Daniel Roebuck, Evan Todd and Isaac Haig all dumped the freezing cold water on their heads in front of him. Was it enough to turn the kitty’s frown upside down? Nope, it wasn’t. But it was enough to make him look at those hairless things who walk on two legs like they were crazy. Which they are.
BTW could you imagine if Grumpy took the challenge? There would be blood, lots and lots of blood.
