Back in the ’80s, girls wanted to stay the night with Richard Marx and Chicago’s Peter Cetera and hold on to the nights with both of their arousing voices that were our inspiration. But the two men never made that glory of love a reality.
That was then, this is now. Over the weekend, the two of them met up in Sacremento and gave us a glimpse of what a hazard that could have been. One that would have filled our endless summer nights with great memories.
When it comes to the two singers, don’t they look fantastic? Can you believe that Marx is 54 and Cetera is 73 because they still make my restless heart skip a beat! What about yours?

Tom Bailey from the Thompson Twins posted the above photo of himself with the B-52’s, and this New Wave fan is calling the Doctor, Doctor because she is so excited to see them all together at the Love Shack. Well, backstage but it is the same thing, right?
Why are Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, Bailey and Cindy Wilson all together? They started their tour with Culture Club last night and they will be touring the United States until October 6th. If you want to roam to one of their shows, you can see the full list of tour dates here. I will be doing a Russell Brand and asking for someone to get me to the Greek!
Seriously, how awesome do they look? Not only is love on their side, so are good genes?
Now if only Bailey would reunite and tour with Alannah Currie and Joe Leeway, I would be screaming hold me know. I would be saying you take me up so high to that news and I never want to come back down.
One last note, does anyone know if Bailey still has his butt-length tail? I remember hearing a rumor a fan once cut it off.

Englishman Paul Young was in Pawling, NY for a concert with Midge Ure and the mosquitos turned their love of the common people into love for him. That is because the singer found himself covered in their bites and now instead of iron out the rough spots, he is scratching them. Some words of advice for the rocker, every time you go away on tour, you might want to pack some Avon Skin So Soft.

Back in the ’80s, girls just wanted to run their fingers through the spikes of Limahl and Howard Jones’ hair and I am not too shy, shy to admit that! While we never got the chance to do that, their neverending story is not over quite yet. Like Jones said, “Things can only get better,” and it did for both rockers who met up in Germany over the weekend on a show, that was dedicated to you guessed it, the ’80s!
Seriously, how can you not have an everlasting love for these two? Don’t they make you go all Kajagoogoo? So much so that you want to turn a dream into action?

You can’t help but to think of Soft Cell’s Tainted Love, when you think of the ’80s. But where are they now? You normally never think of the band behind the song when you sing their chart topping tune. Well, we are thinking about them now because Marc Almond announced on BBC Radio 2 today that they will play one farewell concert on September 30th at O2 to say goodbye and celebrate their 40th anniversary.
Almond confirms this is it, but the radio host is not as sure as the singer. Once you get a taste for it, it is hard to not eat the whole thing up. Especially since Almond said that they might release some new music too for their 40th.
Will you run to or run away from their final performance? And do you also have Tainted Love stuck in your head, like it is stuck in mine now?
