In 2021, CBS added Ghosts to their lineup, and next season, Vampires will be joining them. Eternally Yours comes from Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, who brought Ghosts to the States.
The sitcom is “centered around Charles (Ed Weeks) and Liz (Allegra Edwards) – a vampire couple whose once-passionate romance has devolved into a pulseless marriage after 500 years together. Living in present-day Seattle with their oddball coven, they’ve settled into an eternal rut—until their daughter’s (Helen J. Shen) earnest human boyfriend (Jaren Lewison) unexpectedly enters their lives and forces them to confront whether their love can survive forever… or if forever is a life sentence.”
Next season, CBS will only have three half-hour series, Ghosts, Eternally Yours, and Georgie and Mandie’s First Marriage, on their schedule, since they cancelled The Neighborhood and DMV. So it will be interesting to see how they handle the vacant 30 minutes.
Will it be news? A game show? A magazine show? A talk show? We will find out on April 15th when they announce their 2026-2027 schedule.
Before Jean Smart had seven Emmys, she was credited as a Woman Bather in Before and After. You can totally recognize her voice when she was 27 making her on-camera debut in that 1987 television movie of the week.
CBS announced today that P!nk is hosting the Tonys, the award show that is dedicated to Broadway, something she has never done. So, I am completely confused as to why they asked her over a Broadway star like Jonathan Groff, Andrew Rennells, or Alan Cumming.
Even the singer was confused, “When I was asked to host @thetonyawards, my first question was — don’t you need to have been on Broadway for this?” I guess not.
“We are thrilled to welcome the incomparable P!NK as the host of this year’s Tony Awards – a fearless artist whose powerhouse voice, electrifying stage presence and undeniable authenticity embody the very spirit of live performance and theater,” said executive producers Raj Kapoor, Sarah Levine Hall and Jack Sussman. “A passionate fan of Broadway, she brings a genuine love for the art form alongside her bold creativity and deep connection to audiences around the world, and we know she will deliver a fresh, dynamic energy to Broadway’s biggest night!”
I don’t doubt that she will bring a dynamic energy to the show. I just don’t get why they didn’t ask someone who has done theater to do it. But that is me.
The Tonys will air on June 7th, and I expect Keanu Reeves to be nominated.
It seems like everything that Bill Lawrence creates these days is going to be a huge success, and Rooster on HBO and HBO Max is no different.
The series is set on a college campus, centering on an author’s (Carell) complicated relationship with his daughter (Charly Clive). The critical darling looks like it will be the network’s most-watched freshman comedy in over a decade, averaging around 6 million viewers in its first four episodes.
Clancy Collins White, President, Creative Affairs, Warner Bros. Television, quote: “ROOSTER is a heartfelt, endearing series, and its second-season renewal is richly deserved. Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses are masters of their craft, bringing their signature heart and humor to life through an incredible cast led by Steve Carell. We’re thrilled to continue this creative journey with HBO and Doozer.”
I keep meaning to watch it because my friend’s daughter is in it. Now that I know it is picked up, I am so going to tune in.
The remaining six episodes for this season will continue to debut on Sundays at 10p.
In May 2024, Taylor Momsen was bitten by a bat while performing with her band, Pretty Reckless, during their tour with AC/DC.
Now, almost two years later, she is back on the road with her band and the Classic Rockers in Mexico, and once again, something thought she looked good enough to eat. This time, a spider bit the Grinch actress, and the venom did a number on her system.
So, they called in a doctor, who gave her a shot before she took the stage. I know they say the show must go on. But if a spider tried to kill me, I would have taken the night off.
I mean, you have to let the venom do its magic on you so that you can become Spider-Woman. However, she didn’t turn into Bat “the Gossip” Girl when he gave her a hickey. Maybe a bite is just a bite, and it doesn’t turn you into a superhero like it does in the comic books.
If I were Momsen, I would not do another tour with AC/DC because with her luck, the next bite could be the charm she doesn’t want. I mean she could get bit by a scorpion or a snake.
Talking about snakes. She thought working with Blake Lively was the scariest thing she would ever have to deal with on the job. Just joking! It was too easy not to go there.
Back to Taylor. I sincerely respect her for going out there and performing because most musicians would have gone home and left the fans disappointed.
