Coyote vs. ACME is the little movie that could. Looney Tunes and Warner Bros created a live-action masterpiece with animation. But then, in 2023, the evil david zaslav made it disappear so that no one could see it as a tax write-off. And the fans were upset.
So in 2025, when the villain who sold almost everything off needed money. He decided to do the same with this film, selling it to the highest bidder. And Ketchup Entertainment gave the greedy bastard, who destroyed Warner Bros, the moola he desired.
On August 28th, the feature will finally see the light in a dark movie theater! And the fans are as happy as Bugs Bunny when he inflicted great pain on Wile E. Coyote!
After decades of being blown to bits by bombs, demolished by dynamite, mangled by magnets, battered by boulders, trampled by trains, tricked by tunnels, sprung by springs, steamrolled by steamrollers, maligned by misfires, bedeviled by bungees, rattled by rockets, backstabbed by bat suits, rocked by rocket skates, upended by unicycles, quaked by quake pills, rubberized by rogue bands, and hurled headlong off every cliff in the Southwest, Wile E. Coyote (Genius) finally fights back. Teaming up with billboard accident lawyer Kevin Avery (Will Forte), he takes on slick corporate counsel Buddy Crane (John Cena) and ACME, Inc., the profit-obsessed conglomerate behind every one of the Coyote’s chaotic catastrophes.
I will be there one day one.
However…I have a HUGE problem with the promotion for this movie. They do not mention Eric Bauza, who voiced almost all of the animated characters in this film. Without him, there would be a lot of silence! Get to know the man behind the cartoons! He has a great nonprofit, Saturday Morning Cartoons United, and he is a really good guy!
Last week, CBS announced their 2026-2027 season schedule, and Matlock was not on the Fall lineup. So, I, like many others, was questioning their decision.
Today, TV Insider spoke with the show’s creator, Jennie Snyder Urman, and she told the site that it was her decision to hold the show until the midseason.
Why? On Thursday, during the season finale, the Wellbrexa mystery will come to a conclusion, and next season, Matlock (Kathy Bates) and the team will take on a new mystery. However, the writers need time to map it out, so she asked her bosses for some extra time to figure it all out.
“[It’s a] big reset, so we have an extra long writer’s room before we go to camera, and I really want to do it right,” Urman told TV Insider. “The quality is everything to me.”
Personally, I am happy they are getting rid of the Wellbrexa storyline because it has been bringing the series down. I wish it were more of a legal procedural. But I also know Urman is really good at creating novella-type storylines, like she did on Jane the Virgin.
Before Tommy Lee Jones was wearing black suits in Men in Black, he wore all jeans on Charlie’s Angels. How much do you like the 29-year-old with longer hair in that 1976 episode?
