Barry Manilow postpones more dates

Barry Manilow cancelled his Christmas dates because he underwent surgery to remove cancer from his lungs. The 82-year-old was hoping to be back on the road at the end of this month, but that is no longer happening.

The singer had this message for his fans:

Hi Everyone.
Barry here.
Just got home from visiting the surgeon.
Very depressing visit.
I told him that I have been using the treadmill three times a day (I have) but that I still couldn’t sing more than three songs in a row before I had to stop.
But I was sure that I would be able to do the Arena shows in a few weeks.
He shook his head.
He looked at me and then he looked at the floor.
“What?” I said.
He said, “Barry, you won’t be ready to do a 90 minute show. Your lungs aren’t ready yet. You’re in great shape considering what you’ve been through, but your body isn’t ready.
You shouldn’t do the first Arena shows. You won’t make it through.”
Well, I had a feeling he’d say that. Deep down, I wanted to go back-but my body knew what my heart didn’t want to admit: I wasn’t ready.
I’m so sorry I have to reschedule the first batch of Arena shows from February 27th – March 17.
He said I could likely do the Vegas shows at the very end of March and the second batch of Arena shows beginning in April.

Hopefully, his lungs will have healed by then. However, his health comes first. Although for performers like him , being in front of an audience is his best medicine.

Eric Dane’s last words to his daughters can help you
February 22nd, 2026 under Eric Dane. [ Comments: none ]

Back in November, Eric Dane sat down with producer Brad Falchuk and recorded what will be his Famous Last Words. Because three months later, the actor lost his battle with ALS.

ALS took a lot of things from Dane, but not his spirit. So, as he struggled to talk because the disease had quickly paralyzed his whole body, he revealed he was happy and at peace living in the present.

That is what he told his daughters: live in the present. Don’t hold onto past regrets.

He also told them to find something they love to do. Something that makes them want to get out of bed in the morning. It should not define you, but it gives you something to excite you.

Friends, make good friends who are there for you no matter what. They won’t judge you, but they will be there when you need them most.

And finally, fight! Never give up. Fight until your breath, like he did.

Sounds simple, and it should be. Even though those words were meant for Billy and Georgia, they can be there for us too because last words are a person’s wisest. And wise those words were.

Halle Berry goes from Catwoman to cat lady
February 20th, 2026 under Halle Berry. [ Comments: none ]

In 2004, Halle Berry played Catwoman on the big screen. But in real life, she is a cat lady. She told Drew Barrymore that she has taken in four kittens and rescued a lot more, who have moved into her backyard.

In fact, she is thinking about creating a rescue called Hearts and Paws because her neighborhood has such a cat distribution problem.

So now the mom of two kids, two dogs, and four cats is capturing the cats in her area and making it so they can’t become parents anymore. And she is trying to find homes for them and their children.

Maybe because I am a crazy cat lady, but this makes me like Halle Berry. Anyone who can love animals that much is pretty great in my book!

LeAnn Rimes recreates Coyote Ugly with her 9-1-1: Nashville co-stars!

In 2000, LeAnn Rimes got up on a bar and sang Can’t Fight the Moonlight for Coyote Ugly.

While she can’t fight the moonlight, she can fight aging. We know that because she recreated that moment with her 9-1-1: Nashville co-stars Jessica Capshaw, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Juani Feliz, and Hailey Kilgore.

Someone call 9-1-1. The ladies are causing a fire because they are so hot!

Little Debbie is selling the saddest cake

Little Debbie Birthday Cake

Little Debbie is selling a grab-and-go single-serve Birthday Cake, and that makes me sad. Why? Because I can see myself buying one on my birthday.

But that is not how the snack company sees it. “We wanted to capture the pure, unbridled joy of a birthday party and make it accessible anytime, anywhere,” said Chuck Clevenger, associate brand manager at McKee Foods. “By moving to this new single-serve hex shape, we’re offering a premium, standalone treat that’s perfect for those ‘just because’ celebrations.”

And now I see it a little less sad! Every day can be your birthday with the little cake! And that can be a happy thing because birthdays are special.

And for me, that is a good thing because I hate my birthdate. So now I can celebrate any day I want.

The cakes are available now. So grab a candle and a cake, and celebrate like it’s your birthday!!!
