See David Del Rio’s replacements on Matlock
February 9th, 2026 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

David Del Rio was fired from Matlock after an investigation over a sexual assault allegation brought on by his co-star, Leah Lewis, in October.

Since they had already filmed half of season 2 and were going on a filming hiatus around the same time, the show had to figure out how to move forward without him.

So, in the second-to-last episode before the winter break, they had his character depart the show after his girlfriend had a miscarriage.

That was then. The legal drama returns on February 26th, and there will be three new faces in the midseason premiere. They are Sarah Wright Olsen, Edwin Hodge, and Henry Haber.

Today, Lewis shared a photo of her new male co-stars with Kathy Bates and Skye P. Marshall, and they look like they already fit in. Granted, Hodge has an advantage because he is married to Marshall in real life.

According to TVLine, this is a description of the three new characters: “Wright Olsen plays Gwen, an efficiency expert analyzing the firm. Haber plays Hunter, a younger associate from the floater pool who is a total bro. Hodge plays Langston, ‘the kind of guy who can show up late, knowing he’ll charm everyone into forgetting about it as soon as he arrives. A double PhD in neuroscience and philosophy, he is a deep thinker… and a smooth talker.'”

Will they be able to smooth-talk fans into liking them? We shall find out when the series returns later this month.

Del Rio asked CBS for another investigation into the allegations, and he was granted one by the network. The investigation has reportedly been concluded recently, but the outcome has not been revealed.

Miley Cyrus comes in like a wrecking ball on Sesame Street
February 9th, 2026 under Miley Cyrus, Sesame Street/Muppets. [ Comments: none ]

There was a time in Miley Cyrus’ life when she would have been perfect for Sesame Street, and then there was a time when she was not!

Well, it turns out now is the perfect time for her to be on the children’s educational show!

Netflix revealed that the singer will make a guest appearance on the upcoming season. Along with hanging out with Elmo and the gang, she will be singing an original song with them.

Something tells me that Cyrus is not only cooking up an engagement these days. I think she is ready to be a mom, and she wants to share this with her future kids. Because what is a cooler way for a Hollywood child to brag about their parents than to say their mom or dad visited the most famous street in the world? Take that, Broadway!

New episodes start streaming on March 9th.

Bad Bunny’s bushes were people!
February 9th, 2026 under Super Bowl. [ Comments: none ]

“Hey, Mom, I am going to be part of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.”
“Really, son? I am so proud of you! You have worked so hard to get there.”
“Yes, I will be the third bush from the back in the middle row!”

Imagine having that conversation with your mom. Several children had that very discussion because the bushes we saw were actually people dressed as greenery!

And now the left shark can feel better about himself. I think?
