Gordon Ramsay is baking up a Next Level competition special

Today was a very good day for Gordan Ramsay. Fox renewed his series, Next Level Chef, for two more seasons, and they are giving him a baking spinoff for that series.

“I’m delighted that Next Level Baker is coming to FOX later this year. A holiday special, where passionate home cooks, more used to crafting treats for their family, will compete against social media creators; individuals who fill our feeds with photo ready creations, side by side with talented professional pastry chefs, impressing with Michelin starred perfection,” said Ramsay. “My very first job was baking in Paris, and to me there is nothing better than the smell of freshly baked bread. I’m hoping on these holiday specials we get to discover Incredible family recipes handed down through generations of bakers, inventive bakers cleverly working with dietary sensitivities and those with a talent for stunning creativity and elevated design work. This holiday season I cannot wait to discover the baking heart of America.”

I can’t wait to see the Bakers tackle each other to get sprinkles. I have a feeling that Next Level Baker is going to be better than the OG. But I prefer baking to cooking.

When is Fox just going to give Ramsay his own network? He has enough shows to have one,

Katy Perry and Gayle King are going to space with Lauren Sánchez
February 27th, 2025 under Katy Perry. [ Comments: none ]

Jeff Bezos has given Lauren Sánchez so many expensive gifts (including awful plastic surgery), so what else is left for him to get his future wife?

He is giving her a trip to Space on his New Shepard’s 11th Human Flight with Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, Gayle King, Katy Perry, and Kerianne Flynn this Spring. Sánchez is leading a team of explorers on a mission that will challenge their perspectives of Earth, empower them to share their own stories, and create a lasting impact that will inspire generations to come.

Can someone tell me how Katy Perry is an inspiration for today’s generation, let alone future ones? How many female singers did the future Mrs. Bezos have to call before she settled on the California Gurl?

Back to Sánchez. Maybe because I am watching Beyond the Gates as I type this, but what if Bezos no longer wanted to marry her? So he is sending her up into Space with a one-way ticket and making it look like an accident.

He can afford to make a new compensating rocket with all the tax cuts the GOP gave him. And he can also afford to build a new wife.

UPDATE: Katy Perry released a statement about going up into Space. To see what she said, then click here!

What is, the PG-13 description of Horror movies?
February 27th, 2025 under Jeopardy. [ Comments: none ]

Pop Culture Jeopardy decided to have some fun with scary films by doing a category all about Horror Made Wholesome.

It would be like, “A man loves his mother so much that he keeps her around so that they can always be together until his death they do part.”

It was a lot of fun to see how they made some of the most famous Horror movies seem like something you want to take your kid to. But then again, my dad took me to see those types of films when I was a kid. So my kids would get the real description.

Oh, and Colin Jost and I were able to figure out a clue because we both took Latin.

Ellen Pompeo says the best thing about Grey’s Anatomy is ‘financial security’
February 27th, 2025 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Ellen Pompeo has a habit of bashing Grey’s Anatomy, the show that has made her a household name and wealthy. And it sounds like she did it again. The actress sat down with People to talk about her new limited series, but they still talked about her old one.

Although we do not hear the interviewer’s question, it seems like they asked her what is the best thing about being part of the medical drama. “Well, the best thing is the financial security, if I’m being very honest. It’s been really lucrative. And I think financial security is not something that every actress has afforded, so I’m very grateful for that.” Then she added, “The hardest thing is just the repetitive nature of doing the same thing over and over. You know, there’s a familiarity with Grey’s that people love. So, we can’t change it too much. I mean, I would love to change it so much. I’m always like, ‘Let’s do this, and let’s do that!’ and they’re like, ‘Shut up, Ellen, we’re not doing that.'”

It is amazing to me that someone can sound like they hate doing their job and yet stay at it for 20 years. And the fact that they keep paying her millions and keeping her there after all of the negative things she has said still surprises me. And yet, so many more talented people were let go for Grey’s over the decades. I will never understand it.

However, I have to admit not everything she said was negative. She loves that the series has influenced people to become surgeons. “It is what has kept me as part of the show for so long. It really does touch people in a way that not many people get the opportunity to touch people the way that show has, for the better.”

And do you think it would be for the better if they finally do to Meredith Grey what they did to her parents, husband, sister, friends, and so on…

Although, I wonder how much longer Grey’s will go on since Ryan Murphy is ABC’s new darling.
