Mary Jo Buttafuoco asked Lifetime to tell her story
December 11th, 2025 under Lifetime. [ Comments: none ]

On May 19, 1992, Mary Jo Buttafuoco opened her door, and her life was forever changed. Standing on the other side of it was Amy Fisher, then 17,  who claimed she was having an affair with Mary Jo’s husband, Joey. Fisher went over there to talk to Mary Jo, but by the end of their conversation, the teenager shot the mother of two in the head.

Mary Jo survived the shooting, and now, a third of a century later, she told her story to Lifetime.

Executive Producer and Narrator Mary Jo Buttafuoco said: “It’s been 33 years since I was thrust into the true crime spotlight after surviving a near-fatal gunshot wound to the head at the hands of my husband’s teenage lover. In the years that followed, I endured extreme public scrutiny, relentless media coverage, and was often mocked and misunderstood in the public eye. What many didn’t see was the private toll it took—battling depression, suicidal thoughts, and addiction as I tried to make sense of a life that had been so violently and publicly shattered. Today, I stand not as a victim, but as a survivor who has turned unimaginable pain into purpose. Through my book and my work as a motivational speaker, I’ve been able to share my truth and help others find strength in their own struggles. I am deeply honored to see my life story told from my perspective in this new Lifetime movie. This is not just a true crime headline—it’s my journey of resilience, healing, and reclaiming my voice.”

I am Mary Jo Buttafuoco is the first time her story is being told in a movie. Fisher, on the other hand, had three movies about her released within a year, which aired on CBS, NBC, and ABC.

The telemovie, I Am Mary Jo Buttafuoco, premieres on January 17th.

David Del Rio’s last Matlock episode already aired
December 11th, 2025 under CBS. [ Comments: none ]

Sonja Flemming/CBS

Back in October, David Del Rio was let go from Matlock after an investigation that he allegedly sexually assaulted his co-star, Leah Lewis, on the set.

Since then, we wanted to know how his character will be written out of the legal drama. Today, we found out.

Deadline spoke with the show’s creator, Jennie Snyder Urman, who revealed that his episode had already aired.

“I’m not going to discuss details, but what I can talk about is in terms of the show,” Snyder Urman told the site. “The last episode you see him is in 7, and then you find out how Billy’s story ends, which is in a very organic way that has to do with our whole office and how things are being shaped in this merger.”

Yesterday, TMZ reported that CBS reopened the complaint and interviewed the actor and a few others about the incident. Del Rio is said to have denied the allegations.

Matlock’s midseason finale airs at 9p tonight.

Ted 2 finally gets a premiere date!
December 11th, 2025 under Seth MacFarlane. [ Comments: none ]

Ted, the prequel to Seth MacFarlane’s movies, is one of Peacock’s most successful original series. So they almost immediately picked it up for a second season. But that was almost two years ago. Since then, there has been no word about when it would debut. Today, we finally got that answer.

It’s 1994, and senior year of high school is underway for Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear and his best friend, likable but awkward John Bennett. Together they live in a working-class Boston home with John’s parents (Matty and Susan) and cousin (Blaire). Matty is a blustering, blue-collar Bostonian who sees himself as the unequivocal boss of the house and doesn’t like anyone challenging him, particularly his liberal-minded niece. Susan is kind, selfless, and almost pathologically sweet when it comes to caring for her family. Blaire is an outspoken college student who often finds herself at odds with her more traditional-minded relatives.

Executive producers, Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh, said, “We hope you enjoy these eight somewhat filthy, hopefully funny heartfelt episodes about a young man, his talking teddy bear, and their highly dysfunctional family. On the off-chance the series is not your cup of tea, a great way to get us back is to leave all the episodes playing to completion on multiple devices throughout the house. That’ll show us.”

Ted 2 will drop all eight episodes on March 5th. You don’t have to wait until then to show them. You can watch the highlarious first season on Peacock now. You will want to show them several times because it seriously should be illegal to be that funny!!!

6-7 is out at In-N-Out
December 11th, 2025 under Fast Food. [ Comments: none ]

via ardenfartden

If you say the numbers 6-7 to someone, they are going to laugh and then move their hands up and down. It is all in good fun. And with things the way they are now, we all can enjoy a little lighthearted fun like this!

However, there is one place that does not enjoy it, and that place is In-N-Out. Therefore, they pulled the number from their order callout list.

Teens have been showing up at the overrated hamburger joint, waiting for the number to be called, and then they would cheer when it was.

Well, I guess that In-N-Out doesn’t like joy in their restaurants, so they are no longer calling out 67. According to People, it now goes from 66 to 68.

To that, I say, 6-7, 6-7. 6-7. That, and your burgers suck! I have had your food six or seven times since I moved to LA, and I hated it the six, seven times I have had it.

So In-N-Out, stop being Scrooges and bring back 6-7!

Hugh Jackman peed in his pants on stage
December 11th, 2025 under Howard Stern, Hugh Jackman. [ Comments: none ]

Hugh Jackman was on The Howard Stern Show yesterday, and he asked the actor a question that very few people would.

What was it? The Shock Jock wanted to know if it is true that he pissed in his pants when he was playing Gaston in Beauty and the Beast early on his career in Australia.

The answer is yes, The Greatest Showman did that, and then he shared the story about what happened.

Jackman was suffering from headaches due to dehydration, and his doctor told him to drink two liters of water every day before 5p.

Since he was not much of a water drinker, he did not know the effect that would have on him. Those of us who do know exactly what was going to happen. And it did.

During the first number, he was singing, and he had to lift Belle up. When he did, he felt a little piss come out. He thought he was OK, but then he had to sing to an F-sharp. He had to make a choice: hit the note or pee on stage. He chose the latter.

After he was done relieving himself, he looked down and was relieved to see that his red stockings looked dry. However, his boots were soaked because that is where all of it wound up.

Well, that was until the pee finally started to show. Thankfully, he noticed it when he went backstage a few minutes later.

What is Jackman’s take from it? He said, “And you know, nothing can embarrass you after that.” That is very true!
