What is the Spirit Tunnel? The show’s crew stands alongside the walls as the guests walk from the green room to the stage. As they walk past the crew, they sing a song or chant to welcome them to the show. And the celebrity dances their way to Hudson.
It is an extremely positive thing that became a viral sensation for the daytime talk show. In fact, it became so popular that it might even be bigger than the host.
Therefore, now that they are coming back for season 4, they changed up the Spirit Tunnel to make it even bigger. They added pictures of past guests to the wall and added purple paint to the bottom half.
Instead of resembling most of Hollywood’s dingy offices, it appears to be part of the show, which it is. You might even say it saved it.
J-Hud is back on Monday with all new Spirit Tunnels.
The Hunting Wives is Netflix’s surprise hit of the year, so fans have been wanting more of Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman. So much so that every interview they do, the interviewers want to know if it will be back for season 2.
Today, Netflix announced that the fans are getting what they want. Showrunner/Writer/EP: Rebecca Cutter: “I’m so excited to write these amazing characters again, and I can’t wait to take the audience on another sexy, twisted, batshit crazy ride through Maple Brook.”
What can we expect from the Wives? Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?
We will have to wait until next year to find out, but at least we are going to find out.
And we are going to have to wait that long to see if Ackerman will wear that awful wig again or die her blonde hair red?
During the last season of Saturday Night Live, Ego Nwodim made a name for herself when the entire audience screamed out shit during a bit she did during Weekend Update.
After they did that, she declared that her boss, Lorne Michaels, was going to fire them because of what they said. But did he fire her instead, even though he was supportive of her at the time?
Today, the Not-Ready-For-Primetime-Player announced that she is ready for primetime. She wrote: “The hardest part of a great party is knowing when to say goodnight. But after seven unforgettable seasons, I have decided to leave SNL. I am immensely grateful to Lorne for the opportunity, to my castmates, the writers, and the crew for their brilliance, support, and friendship. Week after week on that stage taught me more than I could have ever imagined, and I will carry those memories (and that laughter) with me always now invite me to your weddings please!!!”
She joins Heidi Gardner, Michael Longfellow, Devon Walker, and Emil Wakim, who are also not returning for season 51 of the live variety show.
I have a feeling that this is not the last time we hear from her. She will be fine because she is the shit!
BTW Has anyone heard from Mikey Day? Because looking at that season 50 cast photo, it seems to be that he might be next?
In 2009, Mike O’Malley was cast to play Chris Colfer’s father on Glee, and the two actors still have that father/son bond.
I know that because Colfer ran into his TV dad today and was all smiles in the photo he shared of their surprise reunion. Then he wrote, “Always love running into family at the airport! @therealmikeomalley Love ya, Dad!”
How sweet is that? Just like the relationship that Kurt and Burt had on the Musical Comedy. I miss the heartwarming moments from Glee, especially the ones that they had.
