Do Jonathan Bailey and Scarlett Johansson have something to tell us?
August 25th, 2025 under Do they have something to tell us?, Jonathan Bailey, Scarlett Johannsson. [ Comments: none ]

Jonathan Bailey shared a photo of himself biting Scarlett Johansson’s neck, and I wonder if they have something to tell us.

Is Bailey switching teams, and is Johansson leaving her husband, Colin Jost, for him? Nope. They are being shameless to get the word out about his charity, The Shameless Fund, a Foundation he founded to use brand collaborations to raise money to support LGBTQ+ rights and organizations.

Did their shameless actions work to donate to him?

BTWF: Will Arnett at the Cybermania ’94

Before Will Arnett was hosting game shows like Lego Masters, he was a remote host during Cybermania ’94. He looks the same now as he did when he was 24 during that 1994 video game awards show.

A Blossom reboot is no longer blossoming
August 25th, 2025 under Mayim Bialik. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2019, when The Big Bang Theory ended, Mayim Bialik and Blossom creator Don Reo talked about rebooting their ’90s sitcom. They wrote a script and started pitching it to Disney, who owns the rights.

Then, she got Call Me Kat and Jeopardy, and it got pushed to the back burner.

But when Kat got cancelled, and she and Jeopardy parted ways, they went back to Disney because they were ready to do the show.

But after the strikes and changes in leadership, they were no longer interested.

The actress and the producer asked if they could have the rights to the sitcom, and Disney said no.

She wrote on her Substack, “While it is possible no one wants a Blossom reboot, I’m pretty certain Disney got this one wrong. The sun is gonna surely shine. Maybe not the way Don and I intended, but this door closed. While we didn’t want it to, we are powerless over every aspect of it except what we know to be true: we loved this possibility with all that we have and we are so so sorry we couldn’t get it to happen.”

Personally, I think Disney got it right. No one asked for it, and no one really wanted it.

Bialik added, “Since this all fell apart, my desire to continue to pursue on-camera roles has waned.” I might be wrong, but I think her on-camera roles greatly diminished after her failed attempt to host Jeopardy. She was not well received on the game show, and fans of it were very vocal about that.

It is a good thing she has a Ph.D. in neuroscience to fall back on.

Do you think Disney got it right or wrong?

Tom Selleck comes out to celebrate Magnum, P.l. Day with the Detroit Tigers
August 25th, 2025 under Tom Selleck. [ Comments: none ]

Did you know that since 2008, every last Sunday home game in August, at Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers, it is Magnum, P.I. Day? This year was a little different because Magnum, P.I. himself, aka Tom Selleck, showed up to greet and pose with the over 700 fans who put on a red Hawaiian shirt, khakis, sunglasses, and fake mustaches just like their TV idol.

Why do the Tigers honor the show and the actor? According to Country Living, Selleck, who grew up in the city and is a fan of the team, wore a Tigers’ baseball cap on the ’80s detective series.

The day also gives back to charity by supporting the Brain Injury Association of Michigan.

This is not the first time Selleck was on the field with the Tigers. In the early ’90s, he spent three weeks practicing with the team to prepare for the 1992 movie Mr. Baseball.
