Before Brad Pitt was one of the most sought-after actors, he was an extra in Less than Zero, No Way Out, and Hunk. The 23-year-old knew how to stand out in those 1987 movies.
Last week, FX and Hulu dropped the fourth season of The Bear, and today they picked it up for a fifth season.
“The Bear continues to be a fan favorite worldwide and their response to this season – as seen through incredibly high viewership – has been as spectacular as any of its previous seasons,” said Landgraf. “Year-in and year-out, Chris Storer, the producers, cast and crew make The Bear one of the best shows on television, and we are excited that they will continue to tell this magnificent story.”
It will be interesting to see how they are able to continue the series after the season finale reveal.
Personally, I would have been OK with that last episode serving as a season finale. What about you? What do you think?
Back in the ’80s, teenage girls were listening to Rick Springfield, John Waite, and Wang Chung’s Nick Feldman and Jack Hues, but they never saw them together in a photo, let alone in concert. But 40 years later, those Jessie’s girls are getting both, so they have something to dance hall days about.
That is because they are on tour this Summer in the States with Paul Young, finally giving all those strangers they were not supposed to talk to something to talk about.
So if you want to celebrate youth again, then check out the dates for the I Want My ’80s Tour and go see them live and in person for their human touch. Because I ain’t missing seeing them for a memorable night. You don’t want to find out what becomes of the brokenhearted by missing your chance!
Oh, and they are all still fuckable! Can you believe that they are all in their 70s? They don’t look it.
Nicholas Hoult is playing Lex Luthor in James Gunn’s Superman. Today, when he was on Today, he shared the crazy way he landed the role.
Hoult and Gunn follow each other on social media, so the actor reached out to the director and asked if they could grab coffee. He was hoping that if a role came up, he would keep him in mind.
Gunn did, and Hoult originally auditioned for the role of Superman. However, in the back of his head, he knew that he would be better off as the bad guy instead of the good one.
So after meeting David Corenswet, he knew that he would be the perfect person for The Man of Steel. Therefore, he was not surprised when Gunn offered him the part of the villain.
If you are going to play Luthor, then you need to have a shaved head. Who got the honors? He let his son, Joaquin, 7, do it!
Hoult is excited for his son to be able to see this movie because it is kid-appropriate. It is also adult-friendly. He told Craig Melvin, “When I saw it for the first time, I left the theater, I just felt like hopeful for humanity, for what I can bring to the world and the goodness I can bring, and the goodness in others.”
That is something we all need these days. We need to be reminded that there are more good people than bad. However, that is not that easy in the current climate.
The CW announced a few months ago that they were importing Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, and today they announced when the police procedural will debut.
The first season follows the Specialized Criminal Investigations Unit’s Detective Sergeants Henry Graff (Aden Young) and Frankie Bateman (Kathleen Munroe), as they investigate high-profile homicides in Canada’s largest metropolis. Their unique investigative skills are showcased through a variety of psychological tactics, with a heavy focus on the motives and actions of criminals. These cases delve into the worlds of high finance, politics, real estate, media, and more.
Canadian TV has already picked it up for a second season, so I would not be surprised if The CW does the same.
