As we all know, Stevie Wonder is blind and has been that way his whole life. However, there are people who have questioned if he might be sighted.
Last week, when he was performing at Blackweir Fields in Cardiff, he addressed that rumor. “You know the rumors about me seeing, and all that,” he told the crowd. “But seriously, you know the truth. Truth is, shortly after my birth. I became blind. Now, that was a blessing because it has allowed me to see the world, in a vision of truth, of sight. See people in the spirit of them. Not how they look, what color they are, but what color is their spirit?”
If we all saw things like that, then maybe the world would be a much better place. Lord knows, Trump has normalized racism in the United States. And his followers have forgotten that we all bleed red. Although they might bleed brown because they are all full of shit.
And talking about full of shit, how can anyone think that the singer has been faking his blindness for 75 years? He might have adjusted to his blindness, but no one is that good at faking that for three-quarters of a century.
We are 133 days from the premiere of the first part of the final season of Stranger Things, 162 days from part 2, and 168 days from the series finale. And that is way too many days after watching the teaser, which makes those final eight episodes look epic. Seriously, how excited are you for season 5?
I didn’t need coffee this morning because that teaser gave me such an adrenaline rush that I am wide awake.
The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.
Every time a series ends, I am always wishing that everyone dies. But that never happens. I am hoping that, after that teaser, that is the case for this show. Because how fitting would that be? Unless it ends with them all going back to the beginning, right before Will Beyers goes missing.
The first four episodes drop on Netflix on November 26th, the next three on Christmas, and the final one on New Year’s Eve.
Before Mariska Hargitay was investigating vicious felonies on Law & Order: SVU, she should have been investigating how her friend lost Elizabeth’s pearl necklace on Can’t Hurry Love. How beautiful was the 31-year-old actress working with the women whose kids she grew up playing with in that 1996 episode?
This clip makes me want to see Mariska do some more comedy because she is a natural at it!
