[ # ] The Stranger Things teaser is a real tease
July 16th, 2025 under Netflix

We are 133 days from the premiere of the first part of the final season of Stranger Things, 162 days from part 2, and 168 days from the series finale. And that is way too many days after watching the teaser, which makes those final eight episodes look epic. Seriously, how excited are you for season 5?

I didn’t need coffee this morning because that teaser gave me such an adrenaline rush that I am wide awake.

The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.

Every time a series ends, I am always wishing that everyone dies. But that never happens. I am hoping that, after that teaser, that is the case for this show. Because how fitting would that be? Unless it ends with them all going back to the beginning, right before Will Beyers goes missing.

The first four episodes drop on Netflix on November 26th, the next three on Christmas, and the final one on New Year’s Eve.

Okay! You got my attention!

The first season of Stranger Things has my hairs standing on end.

Then came the second season… and I just could not get through the first episode, and it kinda dropped off my radar.

Perhaps it’s time to sit down and get caught up on the story arcs? I’ve only binge watched “The Crown” 4 times…
