In 2006, we fell in love with hating Miranda Priestly. Since then, we have wanted a Devil Wears Prada sequel, and today we got a step closer to one. 20th Century Studios announced that the sequel is finally in production.

The Hollywood Reporter says the sequel will have Priestly (Meryl Streep), still the head of Runway, contending with the headwinds of publishing, with the magazine now in a diminished state. Emily’s (Emily Blunt) onetime assistant will now be an executive at a luxury brand conglomerate that advertises with Runway.

Anne Hathaway and Stanley Tucci are also reprising their roles. Kenneth Branagh joins the cast as Priestly’s husband.

The film is set to release on May 1, 2026, a month before the original’s 20th anniversary. How excited are you?

Back in 2016, everyone seemed to be doing the Mannequin Challenge, which was where people shot videos but they stayed still.

Then, as quickly as it became viral, it went away. You can say it disappeared as fast as a speeding bullet.

On that note, the cast of Superman, David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo, Nicholas Hoult, Wendell Pierce, Maria Gabriela De Faria, Sara Sampaio, Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, and Mikaela Hoover, are trying to bring it back.

The Rock spends so much time in the makeup chair that he has become accustomed to being beautified. While he might not love doing that, he loves it when his little girls, Jasmine, 9, and Tia, 7, make him their own personal makeup model.

8:57am my two little tornadoes beg me to let them have a make up party on my head.

8:59am I agree to the torture.

9:04am they get into a huge fight over “the kind” of make up they’re going to give me so they decide to split my face down the middle and each one of them can do whatever they want to “their side” of daddy’s face

10:17am I’m in the shower realizing this s#%t takes forever to wash off.

11am zoom meeting, realizing I still have nail polish on ‍♂️‍♂️

But in the end when it’s time to tuck ‘em in to bed, and kiss ‘em goodnight – you remember quick that they’re only little once and you’d do anything to make ‘em laugh and smile.

I think he prefers how the pros make him look. Even though I prefer what his daughters do to their dad. I especially love how much he loves spending his time with them.

Back in May, ABC did not make a decision whether or not Doctor Odyssey would be back for a second season. They said it was up to the show’s producer, Ryan Murphy.

As of today, neither has made a decision. But time has made it for them. The actors’ contracts will all expire on Monday, so Joshua Jackson, Phillipa Soo, Sean Teale, and Don Johnson will be released to look for other work, according to Deadline. Therefore, the medical drama is effectively cancelled for the time being.

If the show is eventually picked up for a season 2, the season finale left it open for not everyone to return if they find other work. So there is that working for a possible renewal.

If I were Murphy, I would find a role for Don Johnson on 9-1-1: Nashville. I think he would be perfect for that show as a wise retired fire captain.
