Survivor has been on the air for so long that it is getting ready to celebrate its 50th season in the Spring of 2026. And if you are going to have a milestone season, you have to give the fans a treat, and they are.
The show asked 24 contestants if they want to go into the jungle again, and they shockingly said yes. One of the contestants is Mike White, who competed and came in second during the David vs Goliath season. Why does that name sound familiar? He is the creator of The White Lotus.
Besides inviting back the fan favorites, they also let fans have a say about what is going to happen throughout the season.
Earlier this year, fans voted on key elements of the game, including “Idols or No Idols,” “Final Four Fire Making: Keep It or Lose It” and “Live Finale and Reunion Show in L.A. – or Keep the Winner Reveal and Aftershow in the Jungles of Fiji.” The players won’t know what the fans voted for until they are competing on the island.

This Thursday is the season finale for Hacks. And now fans don’t have to worry if the comedy will be back for another season.
That is because HBO Max picked up for a fifth season.
Erin Underhill, President of Universal Television, said, “Like Deborah Vance herself, Hacks only gets bolder, sharper, and more iconic with time. We’re beyond thrilled to keep the laughter rolling with Jen Statsky, Paul W. Downs, Lucia Aniello, our extraordinary cast and crew, and our partners at Max.”
The renewal is not a surprise because it is a multi-award winner and a huge ratings success.
Before Jean Smart was being chauffeured around on Hacks, she had to take the bus to get places on Another World. She looks the same now as she did when she was 29 in that 1981 episode.
When James Corden left The Late Late Show, CBS replaced him with After Midnight.
After two seasons, Taylor Tomlinson quit the game show with comedians to return to comedy. Because of that, CBS cancelled the show.
Today, the network revealed what will be airing after The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Comics Unleashed, a talk show hosted by Byron Allen, will be airing at 12:37a.
“Comics Unleashed is a true passion for me, simply because this world can never have enough laughter,” said Byron Allen, founder/chairman/CEO of Allen Media Group. “I created this show so that the best comedians can all come together and help bring non-stop laughter.”
This is not the first time CU aired on CBS in this timeslot. The show was a filler until After Midnight finally launched.
