The doctors of St. Denis Medical got some good news today. NBC picked up the comedy for a second season.
The mockumentary sitcom, which stars David Alan Grier, has found a loyal audience, and the network wants to keep them around.
If you are one of those people who watch, can you tell me if it gets better? I have tried to watch the pilot three times, and I never made it to the end credits.
Kate Middleton started off 2024 by getting abdominal surgery. Then, a few months later she revealed that she was battling cancer. Today, she announced that, a year later, she has beat cancer.
She wrote: I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year.
My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything.
We couldn’t have asked for more. The care and advice we have received throughout my time as a patient has been exceptional.
In my new role as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, my hope is, that by supporting groundbreaking research and clinical excellence, as well as promoting patient and family wellbeing, we might save many more lives, and transform the experience of all those impacted by cancer.
It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
May she remain in remission and live a long happy life with her husband and three kids. Gd Saved the Princess!
You never know what is going to come out of Robbie Williams’ mouth, and he definitely had us cringing with a story he told to Andy Cohen on yesterday’s Watch What Happens Live.
A fan asked the singer if pooping on stage due to food poisoning was his most embarrassing moment during a show. After he confirmed that it did happen and that he did it again because it was fun, he revealed what it was.
So what was it? He said, “I confused the wheelchair section in my show for people who weren’t standing up and enjoying themselves. And I berated them. And I got the whole audience to point at them and boo. And then stomp their feet and go, ‘Out! Out! Out!’
Then he looked over to the side of the stage at his manager who was telling him to stop as he motioned that they were in wheelchairs.
How did he get himself out of it? He sang his ballad, Angels, because what else can you do?
Then he told Cohen and Julia Styles that this happened before phones with cameras, and in perfect harmony, they sighed, “Thank Gd!”
That is what they are saying. I am like, where is the devil when you need him? Because that would have been so much fun to see. So, we are left to imagine how poorly it went.
And with that, I want to remind you to see his biopic, A Better Man, which is in theaters now. Willians does not play himself in the film, instead he has a CGI monkey starring as the Take That singer.
For the last few months, there have been rumors that Jessica Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, have split, and yesterday, she confirmed it.
“Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” the singer told People. “Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”
She did not say what that “painful situation” is, so we are left to guess what it is until she does an interview or writes a book about it,
The estranged couple were introduced to each other by a friend in 2010, got engaged six months later, and celebrated their 10th anniversary in July. They have three children: Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11, and Birdie Mae, 5.
NBC has so much faith in their upcoming suspenseful drama, The Hunting Party, that they are premiering it a few weeks early. In fact, they are doing this so that it will air after Sunday’s NFL divisional playoff game.
The Hunting Party is a high-concept crime procedural about a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.
The series will re-air the pilot on its original premiere date, February 3rd, and then new episodes will be every Monday starting February 10th.
