Like many reporters, Anderson Cooper is down in Florida, covering Hurricane Milton for CNN. During the height of the storm, he reported from an area where he knew there would be a lot of visuals that could make the storm look worse than it actually was. However, in this case, old Milton was a bitch of a storm.
Anyways, as he was talking about the worsening conditions, he got hit in the upper chest by something white. Then, he told the audience, “That wasn’t good. We’ll probably go inside shortly.” No shit, Sherlock!
About time he finally got hit with something. Let me tell you, he puts himself in dangerous positions to make it look better during storms. There is no reason to be that close to the water when covering a category 3 hurricane. You are just asking for trouble. And yesterday he got it. Luckily, it was just styrofoam; next time, it could be part of a boat or a metal sign. Unless he finally learned his lesson.
Before Ariel Winter was a teenager on Modern Family, she was a little girl on One Life to Live. How adorable is the 5-year-old singing I’m a Little Teapot in that 2003 episode?
The Cure has been singing to us lullabies since the late ’70s, but they have not released an album full of love songs in 16 years. On November 1st, that is going to change with the release of Songs of the Lost World.
Today, the band released A Fragile Thing, the second single from the upcoming record. Robert Smith said, “A Fragile Thing is driven by the difficulties we face in choosing between mutually exclusive needs and how we deal with the futile regret that can follow these choices, however sure we are that the right choices have been made… it can often be very hard to be the person that you really need to be.”
Along with the single, they also revealed the tracklist:
