Elton John sat down with Good Morning America this morning, and he gave them a health update. Back in July, the singer suffered an infection in his right eye, and it has affected his eyesight.
Elton told Robin Roberts, “It’s been a while since I’ve done anything. I just have to get off my backside. I unfortunately lost my eyesight in my right eye in July because I had an infection in the south of France.
“It’s been four months now since I haven’t been able to see. And my left eye is not the greatest. So there’s hope and encouragement that it will be okay, but I’m kind of stuck at the moment.”
Because he lost eyesight in his good eye, he cannot read anything, including music. Therefore, he does not plan on going into the studio until he regains his eyesight. He added, “We’re taking an initiative to try and get it better, but at the moment, that’s really what we’re concentrating on.”
The Rocketman is still standing, and I have a feeling he will regain his eyesight because nothing seems to keep him down.
On Wednesday, the world was shocked to hear that someone from The Simpsons was retiring as a voice character after 35 years.
Pamela Hayden’s last episode as Milhouse, Jimbo Jones, Rod Flanders, Chief Wiggum’s wife Sarah, and Lisa’s friend Janey Powell airs today on Fox.
The big question is why she would give up such an amazing job; Variety spoke to her and found out why. “How many actors can say they’ve worked on a show for 35 years straight?” Hayden said. “That alone is amazing. But it was time for me to devote my time to other creative endeavors that I have, like filmmaking. It was a tough decision, but I feel like it was the right one.”
One of her debut works as a filmmaker hit the film festival circuit this year. Jailhouse to Milhouse tells her story about her tough upbringing, but it didn’t let it stop her from becoming the voice of so many iconic characters. She is also working on a musical that she is hoping will make its way to Broadway.
Until then, don’t be afraid to approach her because she loves her fans.
Even though she has moved on, her characters will not. The Simpsons will start casting her replacement soon.
Last week was a good week for Suits LA, the spinoff of Suits. First, Gabrel Macht revealed that he would reprise his role as Harvey Specter. Then, NBC announced that the legal drama will debut on February 23rd. Finally, the network released a promo with a song that sounds familiar to fans. It is the same theme song from the original series. All of that gives me hope for this show. I just hope it doesn’t let us down.
Guests on The Jennifer Hudson Show are greeted by the crew of the talk show singing to them as they walk to the set.
The celebrities are so touched by it that they give them a huge smile and dance their way to the stage door.
Ted Danson did his best Saturday Night Fever walk and thanked everyone because he is such a nice guy. Not only does everyone know his name. Everyone loves him!
And then there is monotone Justin Hartley. He didn’t even try and was cold to the warm greeters. He is the most boring guy on primetime TV, and yet he has the #1 show. Can someone explain that to me?
Finally, I love that the J-Hud Show does this for their guests. It puts them in a good mood before they start the interview! Thus, giving the EGOT winner a better chat with them
