Ever since COVID, many of us feel like we are going to die alone. And that is the start of How to Die Alone, which is streaming its first three episodes on Hulu now.
Mel (Natasha Rothwell) works at JFK. She has one best friend, Rory (Conrad Ricamora), who works with her there. He is not the only man in her life who works at the airports, so does her ex and boss, Alex (Jocko Sims).
Alex just sent her an invite to his wedding in Hawaii. She wants to go, but she is afraid to fly. Basically, she is afraid to do anything. Isn’t that odd for someone who works at an airport.
However, after Rory cancels on her birthday, she does something daring. That daring thing leads to an accident, which caused her heart to stop.
When she comes to at the hospital, she realizes there is no one for her to call. Just when she is about to give up, the woman in the bed next to her gives her some advice to live her life so she doesn’t die alone.
In the coming episodes, she starts to make changes to her life. Some are good, and others are mistakes.
But all of it is relatable. And that is why you will enjoy each of the episodes.
The characters are people we know and want to watch. We want to see what is going to happen to them because they are us.
The storylines are things we can understand because, in ways, we have stopped living like we did pre-COVID. And this is the wake-up call we need to live again!
So watch the series every Friday, and then go out and make sure you don’t die alone.
Family Matters’ Reggie VelJohnson is one of the stars competing on Dancing with the Stars this season.
The actor is not the only one who is excited to be part of the show, so are the crew and staff!
Therefore, when he got out of the elevator, it felt like the opening of a ’90s sitcom with the theme song included. But when he got to the commercial break, I mean where he needed to go, it was like he was filming Die Hard all over again.
His partner, Emma Slater, is one scary person! She makes working with John McLane look easy!
I can’t wait to see what Team Dancing does during the premiere on September 17th! They have my vote.
Justin Timberlake was in court today to answer to the charges that he was driving while intoxicated in June. The singer took a plea deal and pled guilty to a noncriminal traffic violation of driving while impaired.
As part of the plea, he will pay a $500 fine with a $250 surcharge, perform 25 hours of community service, and have his driver’s license suspended for 90 days in New York.
After the sentencing, he gave a statemebt to the press. “I try to hold myself to a very high standard for myself. And this was not that. I found myself in a position where I could have made a different decision. But I’ve had some time to reflect on that,” he said. “What I’d like to say to everyone watching and listening, even if you’ve had one drink, don’t get behind the wheel of a car. There are so many alternatives: call a friend, take an Uber, there are many travel apps, take a taxi. This is a mistake that I made, but I’m hoping that whoever’s watching and listening right now can learn from this mistake. I know that I certainly have. Like I said, ‘Even one drink, don’t get behind the wheel of a car.”
He also apologized to the people of Sag Harbor for the attention he brought to their small, quiet town.
Timberlake’s lawyer told the press that his client only had one drink, and the initial reports that he was combative with the arresting police officer were false. As is the report, the officer was argumentative with him.
On Tuesday night during the debate, the male presidential candidate made a false claim that the Haitian immigrants of Springfield, Ohio, are eating the cats and the dogs.
Since then, the Springfield Police Department has been inundated with phone calls about pets being taken and served up as pupper, I mean supper.
Anywhoo, a video was releasxed of the most famous Springfield Police Chief reacting to those barking mad residents. How did Chief Clancy Wiggum react to it? Just as you woul expect!
Thank you to Hank Azaria for making a sad but true joke about this insane madness.
And more importantly, thank you to the person who picked Springfuield as the city of choice! The Simpsons jokes are making MAGAts look like bigger fools than we already thought!
Seriously, anyone who has a cat can tell you they eat us and not the other way around.
It has been 17 years since The Sopranos ended with a cliffanger, and people still want to know what happened to the family.
Yesterday, when Edie Falco was on Watch What Happens Live, a fan wanted to know what the actress really thinks happened after the screen went black.
“I love that question more than anything in the world. People are like, ‘I understand, like you guys yelled cut, and everyone went home. What really happened,” she told Andy Cohen. “We yelled cut, and we went home. And that was it.”
So there you have it. Are you satisfied with her answer?
