Tomorrow is Drew Barrymore’s birthday, and she is getting something she has never had before for her 49th birthday.
What is it? The actress was surprised on her daytime talk show on February 22nd that she is finally getting her own wax statue at Madame Tussauds.
Can you believe that she has never had one even though she is one of the biggest child stars ever and has been working nonstop for over 40 years? I mean, you think she would have had one for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, but nope.
Seriously, even her alien friend with a glowing finger had one before her. That is a sacrilege. And thankfully, that sin is being corrected.
You can tell that she is super excited for this to happen because she never thought that it would. But it is. And I can’t wait to see which era of Drew Barrymore they choose to turn into a lifesize candle.
Which Drew do you think the wax museum should choose?
Before John C. McGinley worked at a hospital on Scrubs, he needed a job like that on Another World. He looks the same now as he did when he was 25 in that 1985 episode.
Two weeks ago, King Charles III revealed that he is battling cancer, and the World has reached out to support him during this difficult time.
Since his announcement, he has not had any public events. But today, he met with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Buckingham Palace, and the two talked about the support he has been getting.
“I’ve had so many wonderful messages and cards,” The King said to him. “It’s reduced me to tears most of the time.”
The King added that it is nice to hear that there has been more interest in cancer charities since he revealed his diagnosis. Before he found out he had cancer, he had been a patron of several charities that focused on the disease.
By him revealing that he has cancer, he might’ve saved many people’s lives. That would not be a bad legacy to have. Besides being King of England, of course!
Tonight at 10p on Syfy, Asta (Sara Tomko) cheats on the Resident Alien to go on a date with the Grey alien, aka Joseph (Enver Gjokaj). We now know that he is here to destroy the Earth.
Asta is not really on a date date with him. She is doing it to distract him so that Harry (Alan Tudyk) and D’Arcy (Alice Wetterlund) can check out Joseph’s place to see if there is anything there that can stop him.
However, Joseph set a trap at his apartment, and now Harry and D’Arcy are stuck in it. Will they be able to get out of it before he comes home?
That is not all that happens. We find out that one of Patience’s residents was abducted by aliens. Can you guess who it is?
You are going to want to tune in because this show is so much funny. It is as good as it was during the first season. Harry’s nativity makes this series so enjoyable and his character so lovable, even though he wants to kill all of us.
Linda Hamilton has played Sarah Connor in three different Terminator films, so would she do it for a fourth time?
She told Business Insider, “I’m done. I’m done. I have nothing more to say. The story’s been told, and it’s been done to death.” So, I think that is a no.
The actress also talked about how she sees her character, “I truly feel like, and felt like, Sarah Connor is not an icon. She’s a woman in hell. She makes some really bad choices. She’s not a good mother, she’s a good fighter!
That she is. And the latter is why we love her character so much. She is one of the most badass women to ever grace the big screen. Whether Hamilton wants to admit that or not.
