Joel McHale is getting ready to host House of Villains again!
January 17th, 2024 under E!, Joel McHale. [ Comments: none ]

House of Villains was my favorite new reality show of last year, and I didn’t watch most of the Reality Shows that those contestants terrified. Therefore, I have been patiently waiting to find out if it will be back for a second season.

I am not the only one who was wondering, so Entertainment Weekly asked host Joel McHale about the show’s future at the Emmys on Monday. McHale told Patrick Gomez, “We are! We’re shooting it in February.”

However, he doesn’t know which Reality Villains are moving into the mansion. Plus, how does E! top Omarosa, New York, Johnny Bananas, Bobby Lites, and Johnny Fairplay? Even the actor doesn’t think you can do that. So, he has a suggestion for the producers, “I say take the same cast and just have them continue to compete.” I’d be open to that!

If you missed House of Villains, a competition show that pits Reality TV’s biggest villains against one another for a $200,000 prize, then you can watch it on the E! app now.

BTWF: Billie Joe Armstrong singing at 5
January 17th, 2024 under Green Day, Howard Stern. [ Comments: none ]

Before Billie Joe Armstrong was singing Oh Love with Green Day, he recorded Look for Love by himself when he was in elementary school. How cute did the 5-year-old sound in 1979?

However, as cute as he sounded, he looked even cuter listening to himself singing back then on Howard Stern’s radio show today.

Richard Simmons didn’t give Pauly Shore ‘permission’ to do his biopic
January 17th, 2024 under Pauly Shore, Richard Simmons. [ Comments: none ]

Pauly Shore has been saying that he wants to make and star in a Richard Simmons biopic for a while, so he went ahead and did it.

The comedian even says he reached out to the Weight Saint for permission to make the film. He just didn’t wait to get an answer from Simmons.

Today, Shore announced, “Pauly Shore plays Richard Simmons in biopic. Hey guys, here’s where we’re at in the process. Check out the video. I’ll see you this weekend at #Sundance with @jakevlewis. ‘The Court Jester’ short premiers at @thecabinparkcity this Friday, Jan 19 at 8pm PT and then the world will be able to watch it too. World premier Saturday, Jan 20 at 6am PT on the @lewis_brothers YouTube channel. Can’t wait for you guys to see it!”

After the press picked up the story, Simmons, who has become a recluse, made a rare public statement, “You may have heard they may be doing a movie about me with Pauly Shore.

“I have never given my permission for this movie. So don’t believe everything you read.

“I no longer have a manager, and I no longer have a publicist.

“I just try to live a quiet life and be peaceful. Thank you for all your love and support.”

With that, I think that Shore should pull the short from the festival. But I have a feeling he won’t. I mean, how would The Weasle feel if someone made an unauthorized biopic about him? I am pretty sure it wouldn’t be pretty.

As much as I would love to see Simmons come out of hiding, I think we should leave him alone and let him have his life as he wishes.

Mandy Moore reveals she is lucky to be a mom
January 17th, 2024 under Mandy Moore. [ Comments: none ]

Mandy Moore and her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, are the proud parents to two boys, Gus, 2, and Ozzie, 1. However, doctors told her that her dream to be a mom might not happen.

Today, the actress shared what doctors told her and how her role on This Is Us prepared her to be the mother that she is.

I’ve always wanted to be a mom. Before bringing my two boys into the world with my love, Taylor Goldsmith, I was a mom to many many cats and at times, just as many dogs (and admittedly today, I still am) . But there was a time when I thought I might not be able to have kids. I remember when the doctor told me there was a slim chance of getting pregnant… and then lo and behold to our surprise, I become pregnant with Gus.

Motherhood is a beautiful, messy, sleepless gift and to have two kiddos under two…whew!!!‍ Playing Rebecca on This Is Us actually prepared me for it a bit — like changing a diaper for the first time and running around set with “triplets”. Being a mom on This Is Us to triplets at various stages of life and now being a mom to Gus and Ozzie, well, I’ve learned that as hard as you try and as good intentioned as you may be, it is impossible to “get it right” all of the time.

Rebecca Pearson said it best: “It’s my job to keep standing there with my arms wide open, waiting for you to maybe someday fall inside if you needed it. And if you do, I’ll love you. And if you don’t I’ll love you too — because that’s what it means to be a parent. You’ll see one day.” And to that I say, Rebecca, I see it! #ThisIsUs and #ThatWasUs That Was Us

Moore’s sons are lucky to have her as a mom because she is going to love them whether they need her hug or not. And all the time in between that.

Green Day played a NYC subway station
January 17th, 2024 under Green Day, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Jimmy Fallon invited Green Day to play a NYC subway station for a segment on The Tonight Show, and New Yawkers had no problem with it.

In fact, they belted out American Idiots with the band. Because in NYC, that is what we think of everyone who is not from there. Don’t be upset. It is just how we are!

So, for those few moments, we accepted the band as one of our own. And we love that they changed the lyrics from I’m not a part of a redneck agenda to MAGA agaenda. Cause we hate Trump, and we proudly say we don’t support his hateful, American-destroying movement.

So, that is why Ya Boi and the other commuters declared, “Sometimes the subway in NYC isn’t too bad.”

However, other days, we don’t want to talk about it. But today, we are talking about how fucking cool this Green Day performance was!

And am I the only one who found Fallon looking really hot here? Tell me, I am not alone.
