A few months ago, John J. York revealed that he is battling two blood and bone marrow cancers, myelodysplastic syndrome and multiple smoldering myeloma, and needed a stem cell transplant.
Last month, he miraculously got that transplant. And since then, he has been social media silent.
Today, he gave an update on how he is doing. “I wanted to give you a little update as to how things were going along. They’re actually going along very well. I’m still in the middle stages of everything,” the actor said. “I have a long road ahead, but the test results are looking good. I’m feeling really good.”
And he is also looking good, even though he lost his hair due to the intense chemo treatment he needed to get the transplant.
The General Hospital star also revealed that if all goes well, he will hopefully be back on the show by the summer. And we can’t wait to see Mac Scorpio back in Port Charles as soon as he is healthy enough to return.
Bethenny Frankel took her daughter, Bryn, 13, to Aspen for the holidays, but they almost didn’t make it. That is because the Real Housewife kept setting the metal detector off at the airport.
The TSA agents had her remove everything with metal, and it still went off. When she looked at the screen, she saw that there was a red box where her vagina is.
I don’t think it was going off because of anything up her hoo-ha. I think it was caused by something up her ass, as in the broomstick she has stuck up there.
Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper have been friends since the ’90s, but the CNN host didn’t like him at first. In fact, he told Stephen Colbert yesterday on The Late Show that when they first met, he “really wanted nothing to do with him.”
So, how did they become friends? They were set up on a blind date (that didn’t happen) by mutual friends. And as time went on, the two men kept hanging out with those mutual friends on vacations and such.
The more time they spent together, the more Cooper “found he [Cohen] is actually a wonderful person and the life of the party.”
Cohen didn’t like the use of the word “actually,” so he responded with, “And I found you are actually more lifelike than you appear.”
And that caused Cooper to do that adorable giggle that he does.
Thankfully, they became friends because that means we get to spend New Year’s Eve with them on CNN. So, on that note, will they be able to drink this year? To hear their answer, then click here!
