Drew Barrymore will host her talk show

Drew Barrymore had finished taping the third season of her daytime talk show before the Writers’ Strike began.

However, the strike started days before she was set to host the MTV Film and Television Awards, so she opted to cancel hosting that show.

So, we have been wondering if she would return to her talk show before the Writers’ and Actors’ strikes are over, especially since SAG allows her to do it.

Today, she announced her decision: “I made a choice to walk away from the MTV, film and television awards because I was the host and it had a direct conflict with what the strike was dealing with which was studios, streamers, film, and television. It was also in the first week of the strike and so I did what I thought was the appropriate thing at the time to stand in solidarity with the writers. And to be clear, our talk show actually wrapped on April 20th so we never had to shut down the show. However, I am also making the choice to come back for the first time in this strike for our show, that may have my name on it but this is bigger than just me.

“I own this choice. We are in compliance with not discussing or promoting film and television that is struck of any kind. We launched live in a global pandemic. Our show was built for sensitive times and has only functioned through what the real world is going through in real time. I want to be there to provide what writers do so well, which is a way to bring us together or help us make sense of the human experience. I hope for a resolve for everyone as soon as possible. We have navigated difficult times since we first came on air. And so I take a step forward to start season 4 once again with an astute humility.”

The Drew Barrymore Show will return with new episodes on September 18th.

Papa Roach proves cancellation is not the last resort
September 10th, 2023 under Papa Roach. [ Comments: none ]

Papa Roach, Shinedown, and Oliver Anthony were all set to play the Blue Ridge Rock Festival, but Mother Nature had other plans for them. So the festival decided to cancel the last two days of the fest due to the severe weather.

Well, the musicians didn’t want the fans to leave without seeing them do their thing. So they played an acoustic gig in the parking lot. And everyone had a rockin’ time. Probably a better one than if they got the full effect.

I love bands who care about their fans! We need more groups like them.

Is Temptations trying to get us killed with these cat treats?
September 9th, 2023 under Animals. [ Comments: none ]

There are many differences between owning a cat and a dog. People own dogs, and cats own people.

Another difference is that dogs stay with their deceased owner, while cats would eat their person.

So, with that being said, why would Temptations, which is like crack to cats, come up with the Tasty Human flavor? A flavor that tastes like us? Although they say it tastes like chicken, beef, and liver. Is that what humans taste like?

Seriously, I am already afraid of my cat eating me. I don’t need her knowing how good I taste. She might not wait to eat me.

Matt Rife is getting a Netflix Stand-Up special
September 8th, 2023 under Matt Rife, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Adam Rose/Netflix

Matt Rife has been doing comedy for about a decade. But he hit it big more recently by posting parts of his routines on social media, where he roasts audience members like Shemar Moore.

So much so that he sold out his ProbleMATTic World Tour in just two days.

Well, when Netflix heard that, they were like we need to record one of your 260+ dates and put it on our streaming site.

So, on September 22nd and 23rd, they will film him doing his thing at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.

The comedian leaves no topic untouched, from crystals to social media trolls, and no audience member will be spared.

His special Natural Selection will air later this year.

Sherri Shepherd shows off her toned legs
September 8th, 2023 under Sherri Shepherd. [ Comments: none ]

Sherri Shepherd is so excited about her talk show, Sherri, coming back on September 18th that she can’t stop dancing, even when it is 1a.

So, she shared a video of her excitement while shaking her booty in a little black jacket dress. And we got to see how shapely her calves are.

I know she spends a lot of time sitting on her daytime talk show, but I think she should stand more and show off her gams.

It would help the ratings. And every show needs more ratings.
