We have all played Cards of Humanity. And now they want something from you. They want your quirky short films (that are between 4-40 minutes long), that make you declare, “Oh, the humanity,” like Les Nessman from WKRP in Cincinnati, for their Cards Against Humanity Short Film Festival.
How can you enter? You need to pay $40 to enter at CAHFest.com. Then you send them your short via YouTube or Vimeo by July 25th. Then they will select the finalists by September 12th.
How will you see who made the finals? In October, they are releasing the Movie Night Box with 30 new cards. Along with the cards, you will get the key to watch the festival and pick a winner.
What does the winner get? They will get $100,000! The second-place winner gets a tenth of that. And all the other finalists get a tenth of that.
While the money is nice, there is something even better for the finalists. Thousands of people will see their works of art! And people who will get it, unlike your Aunt Mary Alice, who is still only watching black and white wholesome movies.
Last week, the supreme court said it is OK for a “Christian” business to turn down business from someone if they are a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
So, Michael Imperioli has a message for the people who agree with that decision. He wrote, “I’ve decided to forbid bigots and homophobes from watching The Sopranos, The White Lotus, Goodfellas or any movie or tv show I’ve been in. Thank you Supreme Court for allowing me to discriminate and exclude those who I don’t agree with and am opposed to. USA ! USA!”
And I would like to make that same offer to the bigots and homophobes; you can’t read my site either! I am all about love and accepting people for who they are. If you can’t go along with that, then I can’t get along with you.
For over a year, Danny Bonaduce has been dealing with a mystery ailment that has affected his balance.
Finally, in March, a doctor diagnosed him with hydrocephalus, which means he has fluid in his brain. So in order to relieve him of that, doctors arranged to put a stent in his brain to drain the fluid.
It has been a month since that surgery, and the Partridge Family star gave us an update on his recovery yesterday. “Hey everybody. Tomorrow will mark one month since my brain surgery. Just wanted to tell you I’m doing well and feeling great,” he wrote. “Also to those from the hydrocephalus community who have reached out, a sincere thank you. xo”
Not only is he feeling great, but he is also looking great! Hopefully, he will continue to improve and gets back to his old self soon.
Rihanna is very pregnant with her second baby with A$AP Rocky. However, she was dancing around in a shirt that reads, “Use a Condom.” I think we can all agree, she is way past the expiration date of that tee.
Although, I am assuming the message of the shirt is more related to her AIDS activism. Something she and I both have in common. So use a condom!
