Back in 1997, Aqua had an International hit with their song, Barbie Girl. It was so huge. Just me mentioning it has you singing, “I’m Barbie girl in the Barbie world!” Right?
Anyways. On July 21st, we are getting a live-action Barbie movie. So when Aqua’s René Dif, Lene Nystrøm, and Søren Rasted heard there was a trailer for it, they had to film themselves watching it.
The first thing Rasten said is, “It looks like somebody saw the video that we did and just made a fucking movie.” And he is 100% right. It looks like the plastic world they created. But with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
And on that note, Nystrøm pointed out that the actors will forever be known as Barbie and Ken. Another factual point!
Finally, Dif summed up how we all feel, “It looks fucking amazing.”

Jeopardy wanted to see if the contestants knew five other Classic Game Show Phrases, so they asked them. And they knew them all. I even knew them all. That is how easy the category was.
The one time I didn’t lose on Jeopardy, baby, was when they asked about other game shows. Isn’t that ironic?
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is coming to theaters on June 2nd, and Burger King wants in on the action. So they created a Whopper just for the occasion.
How is it different than the Whooper that hasn’t been bitten by a radioactive spider? This one comes with a red bun with black sesame seeds, just like a certain superhero’s costume.
That is not the only thing BK is doing in honor of the film’s release. They also created a soft-serve sundae covered with red and black chocolate popping candy.
I will try the dessert, but I am going to avoid the burger. Remember when the fast food giant came up with a Halloween Whopper and the black bun was turning people’s poop green? I don’t want to have webs coming out of my butt.
Yesterday was the series finale of NCIS: LA, and we thought that was the last time we were going to see LL Cool J’s, Sam Hanna. But it wasn’t.
Tonight the Rapper turned actor appeared on the season finale of NCIS: Hawaii. Hanna left Morocco to help Jane Tennant (Vanessa Lachey) and Kate Whistler (Tori Anderson), who were under attack in Venezuela.
Now that he saved them, they are going to save his character from going to the TV show graveyard.
That is because executive producers Matt Bosack, Jan Nash, and Christopher Silber announced, “All of us at NCIS: Hawaii have been huge fans of LL Cool J for years and couldn’t be more thrilled or honored to be adding his spectacular talent to our ohana for season three.”
Hopefully, he will go from recurring to series regular because I am not ready to see his character ride off into the sunset.
