Sarah Michelle Gellar has been kissing Freddie Prinze Jr ever since they made the Scooby Dooby movie. However, that isn’t the only person she was supposed to kiss in the film.
Yesterday when the actress was on Watch What Happens Live, someone asked her if it was true that Daphne and Velma were supposed to kiss. She told them yes, but the scene was cut out. Much to her disappointment.
That was not the only thing that is on the cutting room floor. Daphne was going to tell Fred that the ascot made him look gay.
NBC loves the Night Court sequel so much that they picked it up for a second season today.
Channing Dungey, Chairman and CEO, Warner Bros. Television Group, said: “The verdict is in and the ‘new-boot’ of ‘Night Court’ is a hit! The series’ razor-sharp humor makes the show a weekly must watch. We’re overjoyed that court will remain in session and return with new cases for season two. We’re so grateful to our colleagues at NBC, to the richly talented creative team led by Melissa Rauch, Winston Rauch, Dan Rubin and John Larroquette, and to the stellar ensemble cast.”
The news is not a surprise because it had the biggest comedy premiere since The Conners in 2018. And they haven’t lost viewers.
I can’t wait to see what they cook up Melissa Rauch, John Larroquette, India de Beaufort, Kapil Talwalkar and Lacretta next season. I just hope they focus a little more on the cases like the original did.
Before Barbra Streisand was an EGOT winner, she was known as a Broadway star on What’s My Line. How beautiful was the almost 22-year-old in that 1964 episode?
