Monday night was a scary night for the Buffalo Bills. Damar Hamlin appeared to have had a normal tackle with a player from the Cincinnati Bangles, but it was not normal. The safety stood up, and then he immediately collapsed to the ground. That is because he suffered cardiac arrest and first aid responders spent 10 minutes trying to revive him.

Over the last two days, we have heard that he was showing positive signs of improvement. And today, we got really got a really positive update from his team.

“Per the physicians caring for Damar Hamlin at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Damar has shown remarkable improvement over the past 24 hours. While still critically ill, he has demonstrated that he appears to be neurologically intact. His lungs continue to heal and he is making steady progress,” the Bills statement reads. “We are grateful for the love and support we have received.”

If that was enough good news, NFL Insider Ian Rapoport wrote, “#Bills S Damar Hamlin opened his eyes last night and is responsive. Truly incredible. One thing that’s very clear from speaking to those close to him: They are endlessly appreciative of the medical care given to Hamlin on the field immediately, then over the last 72 hours.” Then he added, “Damar Hamlin has been gripping the hands of those close to him. Another very positive sign.”

His improvement thus far has been a miracle. Let’s pray he continues down this path of improvement. Don’t stop because, obviously, our prayers are working.

UPDATE: Two doctors from UC Health Physicians gave an update on Damar Hamlin. They said he is awake, moving his hands and legs, and can communicate via writing. He is not able to talk because he is still on a ventilator.

The first question he had, was to find out who won Monday’s game. If that is not proof that mentally, he is still there mentally. I don’t know what is.

He still has a long road ahead of him. But this is a promising start.

If you were ever hoping for a revival of Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Sarah Michelle Gellar, I have some news for you that is going to hurt as much as the sun does on a vampire’s skin.

When SFX Magazine (via Deadlinefr) asked the actress if she would return to her most famous role, she told them, “I’m not. I am very proud of the show that we created and it doesn’t need to be done. We wrapped that up. I am all for them continuing the story, because there’s the story of female empowerment. I love the way the show was left: “Every girl who has the power can have the power.” It’s set up perfectly for someone else to have the power. But like I said, the metaphors of Buddy were the horrors of adolescence. I think I look young, but I am not an adolescent.”

She thinks she looks young. She doesn’t look 45, but she doesn’t look as young as she thinks.

And I am happy she won’t return to the role because she was calling it in the last few seasons.

Sharon Osbourne loves to tell all, and I do mean all, about her family, whether they want her to or not. For example, yesterday, the matriarch shared with the world that her daughter Kelly gave birth to her first child.

However, Kelly has been surprisingly quiet about her pregnancy and delivery. Because of that, it seems like she is unhappy that her mother shared the news.

That is because Kelly posted this on social media, ”I am not ready to share him with the world. It is no one’s place but mine to share any information on my baby.”

It sounds like Sharon got an earful, and I can’t blame Kelly for being upset. It is her news to share, not her mom’s. But then again, she has lived her life in front of the camera and gossiped about others. So what comes around goes around.

Too bad she didn’t follow her sister Amy’s footsteps and bowed out of The Osbourne Family spotlight. I think we can all agree that Amy Osbourne is the smartest one in that family!
