Jay Leno loves his cars, and he takes excellent care of them. However, yesterday he suffered facial burns when one of his cars caught on fire.
The host told Variety in a statement, “I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”
According to TMZ, he was rushed to Grossman Burn Center where he remains for the time being.
News of his medical emergency first broke on People. Leno was supposed to appear at an event in Las Vegas yesterday but cancelled at the last minute. His people told The Financial Brand that he suffered a “very serious medical emergency.” They did not elaborate about what had happened, so everyone was worried about the 72-year-old’s health.
Hopefully, he will recuperate quickly and not be scarred.
CBS had a strong Fall season with their new shows Fire Country, So Help Me Todd, and East New York, so they are only making a few changes to their midseason schedule. Those changes include Lingo with RuPaul, a new take on True Lies, and the return of Tough As Nails and The Price Is Right at Night.

It is almost 42 years since we lost John Lennon, but this weekend we got to see a Lennon and McCartney reunion. That is because Julian Lennon bumped into Paul McCartney at Heathrow airport.
Their reunion was meant to be because Lennon told The AP at the MTV EMAs that his flights from LA were postponed and cancelled, so he got another flight that got him to the London airport at the same that Uncle Paul was there waiting for his flight to take off.
The two men talked for a half hour, and we got this sweet photo of them. Now, I want to see Julian, McCartney, Ringo Starr, and one of George Harrison’s kids get together and sing some Beatles tunes. How amazing would that be?

Louis Tomlinson thought that his big breaks came when he joined One Direction and with his solo career, but he suffered another one over the weekend.
“Thank you to everyone that’s listened to the new album so far, it means the world to me. The show last night in New York was incredible,” he wrote. “Unfortunately on the way back I’ve managed to fall and break my right arm pretty badly. So I’m gutted to say I’ll have to reschedule the in-store signings next week. New dates will be announced very soOuch.on. Thank you for all your support and sorry to anyone who was coming next week. Hopefully, he will be better soon. But that X-ray looks painful. Ouch.
Yesterday, when Paul Scheer, Luenell, and Mary Lynn Rajskub were asked to solve Electric Bill ?ader, none of them could get it. Even when Luenell finally did, she was like, who? And Rajskun was like, “I still don’t get it.” Therefore, it was up to Scheer to explain to them who the comedian is.
Somewhere Hader is curled up in a ball, crying so hard that even his co-star Henry Winkler can’t make him happy. Although, probably not. Because who knew that CWF was on?
