Before Kevin Zegeres was a fed agent who used to be the actor who played Vampire Cop, he starred in Air Bud about a dog who loves basketball. How cute was the 12-year-old in that 1997 movie?
I don’t know what is making me wetter. The fact that Wolverine is joining Deadpool 3, or that Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are actually doing a movie together. The latter, who am I kidding? Their frenemy bromance is epic and to see them bring it to the big screen gives me hope that the world can be a better place.
Cum to think about it, maybe this film can bring world peace. Because if these two can get along, so can the Ukraine and Russia, China and Beijing, Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde!
So mark your calendars because you are not going to want to miss Deadpool vs Wolverine on September 6, 2024. JFC that is like 2 years away. So much can happen between now and then. Israel and Palestine might actually achieve peace by the movie’s release date. If that happens, then the messiah will be here, and we won’t care about no stinking movie. We will just hope that we will be going to heaven and not hell. Although, I heard hell can be a fun place. Wait, what am I saying? Hopefully, they will move that date up because at the rate we are going to get the rapture could happen by 2024.
Jimmy Buffett has cancelled or postponed all of his shows for the rest of 2022 due to an undisclosed medical reason.
“Due to health issues and brief hospitalization, Jimmy will need to refrain from
touring for the rest of the year. On doctor’s orders, he must take this time to recuperate and heal,” the statement reads. “Jimmy looks forward to getting back on stage next year.”
The 75-year-old is expected to resume his tour in March with the rescheduled dates at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Until then, he will be spending a lot of time in Margaritaville.
Spoiler Alert. The ending to 1983’s National Lampoon’s Vacation was that Griswolds finally made it to Walley World and had an amazing time. However, that is not the original ending that they shot.
Today, Beverly D’Angelo shared with us the way the movie was supposed to end before the test audiences saw the film.
This is a still from the ORIGINAL ENDING of the first Vacation- that never made it into the finished film! Originally, when we found that Walley World was closed, the Griswolds go to Walley’s home and Clark holds him at gun point, demanding that he perform for us. Then, contented, we get on the plane and fly back home to Chicago- hence the airplane seats and hats in this photo. Roy Walley was played by the great song and dance man Eddie Bracken, and it was a great scene!
BUT. About four months after we wrapped, we were called back for reshoots. Producer Matty Simmons explained to me that audiences would be too let down if the Griswolds never made it into the park after all the catastrophes along the way. Harold Ramis brought in John Candy as the security guard we kidnap and you know the rest.
I wish they would’ve kept that scene as compared to the one we saw. It would’ve been more fitting to their failed road trip. Which one do you prefer?
Jennifer Hudson may be an EGOT winner, but she is not a triple threat. Although, that might change because today, on her talk show, Meghan Trainor showed her how to Twerk. Who would’ve thought? But seeing is believing. And do you believe that she can dance now?
Also, on the daytime talk show, Trainor revealed why she keeps some of the plaques in her bathrooms. Why? She wants her guests to know the tunes she wrote for other artists. So when her friends are taking a pee in her bathroom, the singer knows she has their undivided attention. I have to admit that is brilliant. But I am sure her guests are more into the fact that her bathrooms have his and her toilets. At least I would be.
